The Hexmag HX Series 2 features a superior Grip which is achieved with Hexmag's patented hexagonal surface pattern as well as the pronounced ribbing on the front and back of the magazine. This combination provides a comfortable and sturdy grip when completing magazine changes. The Hexmag Anti-Tilt Follower was engineered with equal length legs to prevent tilting forward or backwards keeping the ammo in a straight double stack. The High visibility, Hexmag Orange Follower allows for safer clearing of your rifle’s chamber. A Heat Treated 17-7 PH Stainless Steel Spring, allows for long term magazine storage while fully loaded and stainless steel resists corrosion unlike music wire or silicon steel springs. Hexmag magazines feature a Fiber Reinforced Polymer Construction that is lighter than other leading AR-15 magazines making it a perfect option for competition shooters looking for weight savings. The HX magazine is designed for use with 5.56x45 NATO/.223 Remington, 300AAC Blackout approved, (both supersonic and subsonic .300AAC blackout ammo) .458 SOCOM and .50 Beowulf tested working by independent manufacturers. National Tactical Officers Association tested and approved. NTOA

Hexmag utilizes the same size magazine body for all three capacity options. Hexmag developed a system that does not require the use of pins or limiters. Hexmag didn’t take their 30-round magazine and alter it, they actually changed the internals to mimic a shorter 10 and 15-round magazine. The Hexmag True Riser system features a Patent Pending, fiber reinforced Riser that is engineered to bring the base of the spring up. A shortened, heat treated, stainless steel spring is then used to connect the riser and follower. This system mimics a shortened magazine but keeps the benefits and style of a standard size 30-round Hexmag magazine body. Hexmag's system as shipped cannot be converted back to 30-rounds. Hexmag does not sell parts to convert their magazines to 10, 15 or 30 rounds due to state restrictions.

I've bought from Botach for about 6 years, always heard rumors of poor customer service but never experienced it myself until this year(2021). This year ive had a few issues with them. I think part of it had to do with them moving from their California location, im not sure. I want to like this company but i probably won't buy anything from them for a while. Too many issues in too short a time to want to roll the dice again so soon. Good luck, your mileage may vary

Ordered 12 hex mags on Dec 11th for $86.84 (shipping and tax included) and arrived at my door Dec 18th. Very Happy. What a DEAL!

Can't say anything about the mags but after reading the reviews about Botach i wanted to post my experience. Ordered on 12/1 received 12/14. All items ordered were received within time stated. Two week turnaround time during the holiday time is fine by me.

I don't recommend buying anything from Botach. I ordered some lancer mags three weeks ago and they have yet to be picked up by ups. Despite a email stating they have been shipped. A big fat U for unsatisfactory to this crap company.

Cr@p company. I got three of the first generation 10/30 mags in different colors ODG/FDE/Black to try out on my AR builds. After 3 range trips, two of the mags have splits in middle causing double feeds and random spitting of ammo out when the magazine is loaded and just sitting on the bench. The polymer, especially around the feed lip is no where good as the PMAGs.
Contacted the company and they want photos of the problem AND I have to send in the damaged mags at my own cost for inspection before they send out what is supposed to be "Lifetime Warranty" mags.
I don't think I'm going to waste anymore money on this company and advise you all the same. I was just starting out with AR's so I didn't know any better. So far PMAG's have been solid in my builds and my friend's stock rifles.
On the forums, supposedly the owner of the company tried to eliminate history of his brother contribution to the company. His brother was the developer/designer.

If the CEO can do this to his family, think of what he'll do to his customers.
STAY AWAY!
