Description
Specs
Stainless Steel Slide With a Bundle of Custom Features
Brownells Front Cut RMR Slides for Glock® pistols feature a distinctive, wraparound serration pattern that aids in manipulating the slide, especially when checking the chamber. (OK, we’ll admit it: the serrations look cool, too.) They also come with a pre-cut slot for easy, secure, low-profile mounting of a Trijicon RMR sight. All Front Cut RMR Slides also have standard Glock factory front and rear sight dovetails for "iron" sights. Since the RMR sits low, it can easily co-witness with iron sights.
In addition, you can get your Front Cut RMR Slide with an optional "window" cutout on top between the front serrations that reduces weight and enhances airflow to keep the barrel cooler - ideal for hard-working action competition pistols.
Each Front Cut RMR Slide starts life as a billet of 17-4 stainless steel that is machined to Glock® factory specifications inside, so it’ll fit factory frames and accept factory or aftermarket barrels and parts.
- Fits Gen3 Glock 17 and 19 pistols & components
- Available with distinctive top window cutout or traditional solid top
- Machined from corrosion-resistant 17-4 stainless steel billet
- Heat treated to add surface hardness & given a wear-resistant matte black Nitride finish
- Pre-cut Trijicon RMR mounting slot, plus factory front/rear sight cuts
A Brownells Front Cut RMR Slide is the ideal upgrade for your factory Glock 17 or 19 pistol - and the perfect top half for a new custom gun built on an 80% frame.

I love when people post stuff like this and are completely wrong. Look at the product description. It’s even in bold. Channel liner is required and does not come installed.

I got one for the 17. Sweet slide for the price, but there are a few issues I had to troubleshoot. First was a really tight channel liner. Ended up destroying 2 liners before I wised up and sanded down the third liner. Is then fit great. I was able to build my g17 for under $330, but I had my own barrel. Great value. The RMR cut is very deep, keep that in mind.

I know this may have been said already in another post, but why no Gen 4 version?
I saw this slide on another guys gat the other day, I like it, I want one, but his was Gen 3 like this. We spoke about it fitting or not on a Gen 4, according to him it will, but there will be a cosmetic issue, being a gap up front under the barrel, but that Brownell's sells a piece to put in the gun to cover the hole.
I don't want a freaking piece in there, I want this slide made for a Gen 4.
Anyone?

Can I use a gen 4 G19 frame with a gen 3 recoil spring?
Jerry from Michigan

Yes, that would work. Please call our tech support line at 1(800)741-0015 for the proper selection and additional information.  Alternatively, you may also want to contact a local qualified gunsmith.

Why? I'm guessing that 9/10 people buying slides are looking to complete a polymer 80. They are only Gen 3. I know I too have Gen 4's. Then I said if if I can't beat them join them :). Now I've got a sweet polymer 80 with a Brownells slide.

I seem to recall a Glock employee at one of their summertime shoots telling me their OEM barrels in 9mm and .40S&W will fit the G17 & G19 slides. Anyone know for sure ?

I bought this because it said it didn’t need suppressor sights. Now the new description says you need suppressor sights if you use the RMR

If you want to be able to see the sights THROUGH the optic, it's a given
you need taller sights. It won't effect how you use the red dot, it will effect you being able to co-wittiness

Actually, I got the RMR installed it co-witnessed just fine with standard sights. It’s pretty good.
