I have a Jcomp v2 on my ar15. It reduces muzzle climb without being too loud.

Another big downside is the rearward concussion. This is a very nicely made good looking muzzle brake. Yea, it did reduced the recoil of that "high powered 223 kick", but unfortunately it beat the crap out my brain. I shoot in dense woods. The tradeoff was not worth it. Sadly, I removed it and replaced with a birdcage.

Sorry to hear that you found out that rough on you. I've never had that much of a problem with the rearward concussion, either in dense woods or indoor ranges.

Literally the only downside to this compensator is that it doesn't act as a QD for suppressors. I love mine, and wish I could've found it at this price.
