I own the 20ga version of this, and a number of experienced shooters have remarked that it kicks harder than they expect and that they wouldn't want the 12ga version. Something to think about.

ATF approved the use of SB-Tactical arm brace for these and Remington Tac-14.

Like the other reply says, it’s completely replaceable with whatever grip or stock you want. But if you do put a stock on it, it becomes a short barrel shotgun, which is an NFA item, and not something you want to do.

However, you could put a folding buffer tube adapter with a pistol buffer tube and a brace on it, and it would remain a “firearm”. I think ATI makes one.

I'm not a lawyer, but it would seem that if you put a folding buffer tube and brace on it, it will not reach the 26" min length when folded. Therefore, it would be considered a SBS or at least an AOW. (It can't be a "pistol" since it is smoothbore.) At the very least, this would seem to me to be a gray area that I personally want to have nothing to do with.

If you decide to swap the rear stock for a standard folding stock will they swap? Probably create a federal offense but enquiring minds.......

The shockwave raptor grip goes on just like all the other normal stocks and pistol grips. An Allen screw. Have fun doing that but just make sure you call the atf after you do it so they can arrest you.

It's not marincote and holds one less shell but I bought the Remy version (w/Magpul hardware) for $320 delivered and net of $50 rebate last week. Nice for greeting the sales weasels or probing thieves who ignore my no trespassing & do not enter/disturb signs.

Now your gonna have to put more signs up around your trailer to keep them from coming in and stealing your shitty little shotgun.

Why would you say something like that to a stranger, who is just making conversation and stating his opinion. I had a home invasion 20 years ago, and this would have been perfect, In a High Rise in New York. Not a funny thing to discuss, made it out alive, that's what matters,

Rice Krispy, did someone take away your baby bottle? You sound rather bitter about something.

You would think that the marinecote would have been BETTER off used on the barrel, since the Mossberg receiver is aluminum and won't rust?!!

Since your here your interested in this gun and what makes this gun fun to SHOOT MORE is to make low recoil SLUGS that are cast from birdshot lead! Easier and more fun then you might think! Of course do this at your own risk.

Using same set up as the target load, but the Birdshot is poured out and melted and used to cast a slug that is simply put back in! I use a simple roll crimping tool that you use in your drill! The bulk Federal shells are a little better than bulk Winchester for roll crimping. For what they are the slugs did a decent job! I'll be reloading some better slugs when I get more equipment and data, but for now these are fun and you can't get a simpler slug!!!

I tested my shockwave with these slugs and got about a hand size group at about 15-20yds which would stop a man size threat! This was the first time standing up testing the reloaded slugs, holding the gun away from your face like demonstrated from the instructor from Thunder Ranch video.

Next, I'll be reloading some MINI shotshells out of the bulk target shells DON'T JUST cut out the middle out of the wad, cause it needs something to buffer if not it could have too much pressure!

So, then I'm going to test the inexpensive mini clip adapter for the M500 so they can cycle more reliable. You get a least a EXTRA ROUND or more too!

I DO ENCOURAGE you to get a Lee SLUG mold, their only about $30 dollars and a roll crimping tool for around the same cost and safe data. God bless, be safe and have fun!

I personally would rather roll crimp then glue or wax

This guy has been CASTING SLUGS for a long time and is very knowledgeable!

Why complicate it? it's a defensive weapon used to shoot a home invader. Having not had one 25 yrs ago when 5 men came in my home, it is a very god weapon as is, with the mini shells or buckshot.

Rather have a shotgun with a butt stock for a home invasion. I bought and sold the regular 12 gauge shockwave. I thought it would be a good car gun, but in florida it is a gray area. I think it has to be encased. And loaded or not i dont know, so i just sold it off becuase i didnt need the hassle
