I have had mine for about a month now and I LOVE it. Flawless shooting at the range (meaning no problems, not that it's super comfy). It is such a huge upgrade to carry this instead of the Glock 27. I can actually forget that I have this lightweight, powerful gun. Plus the smaller profile causes much less sweat with my IWB holster compared to the little brick I used to carry. I did upgrade the grips. Now this thing is a little black beauty. I'd like to add a night sight, but that might be overkill on a snubby.

Question Can the front sight be replaced with a night site?

There are reports of the internal lock rendering the gun useless when it either fails or engages due to violent recoil. I had a Taurus 605 lock up on me while shooting some brisk hand loads years ago. I thought it was crimp jump, but when I got home I found out the little key slot on the hammer engaged and therefore locked the hammer preventing it from firing. I liked that 605. It was a damn decent shooter, especially for a Taurus. But these are defensive tools. Not range toys. I have no use for a snub that may or may not function. Just an fyi to consider.

Heck of a deal on what is the best variant out there among Smith Wesson ultralight 357 j frames. I have one of these from a special contract overrun years ago and love it.

Fun to shoot? No, none of the ultralight 357 are. But light to carry and far more powerful than .38 special even with the short barrel.

These 360 models have stainless steel cylinder, blackened for carry purposes. It has no titanium which has had problems with flame cutting on the models that use it. Yet still has scandium alloy making it both stronger for 357 and lighter than the all aluminum framed .38 models. I also have a 642 but this is a few ounces lighter and I could still carry .38 in this gun if I want. Only difference is mine has boot grip, worse for shooting but better for carry. Great deal here.

If only it didn't have a lawyer lock. S&W would sell a lot more revolvers if they got rid of it. I have 4 Smiths, but my new guns will be Rugers.

does that lock really bother you that much?

Unfailing reliability is the main advantage of these small, defensive revolvers... unfortunately, S&W's lock has shown to negate that advantage, and cause buyers to look at other options.

I think it's more the anal area that hurts.
Not an issue for me already purchased one.

Yes in multiple ways. It's a reminder of S&W's collusion with Hillary as well as unnecessary crap on what should be a dead simple revolver.
