They have the PX10 now I noticed that has a smaller, lighter BCG. I don't know if the BCG can interchange between uppers. Something to keep in mind.

I have this in the SS version, these are one of the best bang for your buck in firearms right now!

Pinned and welded actually works for states such as New Jersey. Glad I moved out.

Not DPMS compatible.

There is no definitive standard in the AR10 pattern world, and actually there is commonality with the DPMS low pro pattern. The receiver, bolt, barrel, barrel nut.

The safety, FCG, and grip are AR15 standard (some grips can be AR10 specific to take care of the gap that exists on all/most AR10 types).

The PA10 bolt catch is Armalite pattern, along with the pivot pin. The rear pin is Armalite/DPMS in diameter, but shorter.

The buffer and buffer tube is slightly different (longer), but swappable with standard AR15 buffer tubes and properly sized buffers.

I agree that would be a stupid thing to do, but Palmetto State Armorys site doesn't say anything about it being pinned and welded.

Why the hell would they pin and weld the A2 muzzle device on an 18" barrel? It simply doesn't make sense.

The reason these were so cheap is because somebody made a mistake.

These are not pinned and welded. The item page says nothing about it, and this exact upper I just received that I'm holding in my hands is definitely NOT pinned.

So, only a typo.

I wish it was a rifle length gas.
Anyhow, it's already OOS.
