Brownells price shows $419.99 before rebate, but they also offer a coupon code (LDN) for $20 off and free shipping, or use coupon code L9Q for $30 off of $300 and free shipping. At least that is what it states in the gun.deal ad.

This pistol comes with 6, 7, and 8-round magazines despite what this info states above. Look the mfr part num 2807696 up on the Walther site for the specs. I just got mine from Brownell's. Great buy!

I can get a ruger for around 300 this is kinda overpriced

I don't know what Ruger you're referring to but this is far better than the LCP or any Striker fired ruger Ive ever shot which is all of them. The PPS is best in class in alot of people who know what they're talking about. Now that I think about it, there isnt a Ruger pistol thats better than a Walther. Walthers are excellent high quality guns, your comment doesn't make sense...

There's a reason rugers are 300$ they ain't half the gun a walther is and definitely when ur talking about a pistol that many police and military use across the planet. But hey u can get a hi-point for $140 but it dont mean its a better gun it just means its a gun

please, the PPS is a great gun for the most part, but it's no where NEAR twice the gun the Ruger is. I've every CCW gun from the P938, the Ruger LC9s, Shield, PPS M2/PPS Classic, Glock 43, G26, M&P 9c, and besides the P938 (steel gun, that's kind of a mini 1911 in many ways) they're all barely indistinguishable from each other quality wise. The PPS and shield are top of the heap IMO, but the PPS does has it's problems, including a trigger assembly that peens the barrel. the German guns over price themselves for the most part (until this rebate that is) just because they CAN. And the

I've never had anyone complain of barrel peen from the trigger and I've sold hundreds of these and shot 5 different ones... Trigger is excellent!

I have several Rugers and love them, but I shot this pistol recently and was surprised at how smooth and accurate it was. Then I watched Hickok45's review on youtube, and I have never seen him hit the gong at 80 yards so many times with a hand gun.

But this is a Walther, not a Ruger. Thats like saying the same thing on a Glock 43 or XDS post

Hands down walther pps or ccp! My wife carried a 380 for long time but got her the ccp and out of the box at 50ft she hit head shots 48/50 which for a woman that has one shot 4 times in her life its impressive. Very balanced easy to break down and clean and super durable and reliable

I have a 9 and 40 shield I got with the $75 rebates, both great guns. But I recently shot this pistol at an expo, and was impressed with its accuracy. I plan to get one with its rebate before it ends.

Shield, doesn't get barrell peening and is 75$ cheaper

But the shield blows up in ur face if u try to use any +p rounds for defense has happened 4 times now at the local range 3 times was with range rounds nor even reloads. S&w is not what they use to be its about garbage spend the extra money its ur life or someone else's is that worth $75 more dollars to save ur or ur child's life?

I shoot +p+ out of mine and I know lots of people that shoot +p no issues. Every gun in history has lemons!

The quality of this gun greatly exceeds that of a shield.

These are not night sights. They are standard white dot sights.

they're glow in the dark phosphorous sights. not exactly night sites, but not white dot regulars either

Do these need recharged by sunlight in order to function? Or are they independently bright without being recharged?

Yes, they need lift to recharge.

They are NOT tritium sights. You need to shine a light on them to glow. Not ideal for night time use
