Looks like a HiPoint which is extremely ugly but at least with a HiPoint, I know it will go bang when I pull the trigger. I'm not a HiPoint fan but from what I know about both guns, the HiPoint is more reliable.

For Remington, Lifetime means when you die in an incident because your gun failed to function, the warranty has expired.

ANSWER: Failure to feed, failure to fire, and failure to eject are among the many problems numerous reviewers have reported. Worst reviews I have ever seen on a firearm from a major manufacturer.

THIS WARRANTY ALSO EXCLUDES ANY OTHER WARRANTIES, TO INCLUDE IMPLIED WARRANTIES. Furthermore, no individual or entity other than Remington possesses the authority to alter the obligations, limitations, disclaimers, or exclusions under this warranty. Remington’s obligations under this warranty shall not apply to the extent that any law, regulation, or other governmental requirements prohibits the repair, replacement and, or, return of a firearm to the person who shipped the firearm to Remington. The Purchaser, in order to achieve eligibility under this warranty, must complete and submit the product registration card included with the firearm (or register the firearm online at http://www.remington.com/pages/support/online-product-registration.aspx...) within thirty (30) days of purchase. They have a limited lifetime warranty, 1 and 2 year warranties, but a lifetime warranty, nope.

Remington does in fact have a limited lifetime warranty for all their newer firearms. The 1 and 2 year warranty applies to order firearms/firearms they have sold in the past. All firearms that you will buy now will have a limited lifetime warranty. I know this because I just spoke with a Remington representative who has explained that to me. Hope this helps.

Def best deal going for the RP9. I was semi interested even with the meh design, until I watched MAC's review vids. Definitely sounds like an RP9 2.0 needs fast tracked. I chose a Ruger 9E instead.
