Last time I used this I had several rounds that only half go off. Sounded like a .22 short.
Coated and .04 to .05 cents more than wolf steel. Plus they advertise a carry pouch sometimes, which i dodnt receive. Shit deal
This stuff doesn't feed reliably in my PSA Freedom rifle
Beware if use Active Junky for cash back with Academy now. I haven't had problems with them in the past but the last order I made they refused to honor the cash back. Academy basically refused to verify my order so it was not payable by Active Junky. They also have a habit of poorly packing ammo, I've had 2-3 previous orders show up with boxes loosely packed that have come apart.
Good info Mattman. I greatly appreciate constructive comments verses childish battles some members who use this "Deal" site engage in.
Just got this in today.... no pouch just in a box.
I bought 4 boxes of this stuff last week and it showed up yesterday. I thought it would come with the pouches, but they did not.
That explanation about activejunky is good info, would have been better if a referral link wasn't used, but that's just my humble opinion.
PS, AK's like lacquer coated steel case cartridges like this, but all to many AR's are allergic to this stuff, unless the AR is a plinking or range gun, using this ammo is best to avoid. Same goes for aluminum cased rounds.
Well that is unless you're a glutton for punishment and like FTF's on a regular basis.
Spending a couple pennies more on brass cased ammo means you'll spend less time with caustic solvent cleaners trying to remove the baked in lacquer and copper/lead matrix, embedded in the lands and grooves.
Bought some of this a while back. Shot 100 rounds fine out of my ruger mpr. Problem arose after shooting this ammo when I switched over to brass cased... Malfunction on the first round. The lacquer on this stuff had deposited into the chamber causing a failure to extract the casing of the brass round. If this is all you're shooting, probably fine... Just be aware of the lacquer buildup. Was able to clean the rifle out and ran fine after that.
Despite being steel case, shoots ok in my AR. Bonus is the belt loop case that comes with it.
You two's reading comprehension level is top notch!
Shut up bitch,I was mocking him. You enjoy hanging around this site and always seem to look to start shit. Kill yourself.
Wow, someone needs to talk to their therapist.
Wow, take a chill pill before you bust an artery. Question, you can mock someone however no one can mock you in return? Only a "bitch" would take that stance. Please don't kill yourself though.
Out of the last 1000 rounds, 0 misfires, 0 FTF's, good penetration and accuracy for cheap ammo.
