Anyone know what the finish is? I would love to remove it.

Does anyone know for sure if this includes the magazine block? I called and the lady I spoke with didn't know. She said that it is as pictured. When I pointed out that the picture didn't show the block because it's internal to the lower receiver, she got one and took a look. She said that she didn't think a regular AR15 mag would insert, but didn't seem too sure.

It is for a 9mm, an AR15 5.56mm magazine wont fit

A 5.56mm magazine won't fit if the 9mm magazine block is installed. I'm wanting to verify that the 9mm magazine block is installed.

The 9mm block is installed. This is a 9mm model

To the commenters below; if you want to build a pistol length system I would stay away, this setup is configured to be a rifle only.

What magazines does this use

I am going to guess they use colt style 9mm magazine. No way they use Glock style.

They use Colt SMG magazines, found here.

These are the most reliable magazines for the 9mm AR platform, essentially a modified UZI stick magazine

Is this transfered as other or as long gun? I am guessing long gun since it has a buffer tube designed for a stock. I am building a few 9mm ARs but I am building them as pistols instead of long guns.

I'm curious about this as well

They were received as "receivers" and are transferred the same way. There is no barrel so it is not considered a long gun or a pistol simply a receiver

So the 4473 will say "other" or "receiver"?
