Careful....these are "long" not "long rifle" I bought a box with another order, not paying attention to the description. If you don't know the difference then you probably shouldn't buy these. These are a tad bit shorter than your standard "Long Rifle" and will Not work in most guns made for "Long Rifle" ammo. Fortunately I have an old revolver these work fine in.....
I was curious how many people don't even know there are longs and long rifles.. I see mass confusion here for some people lol...

Bad Ad and description; are they "Long" or "Long Rifle"; box says "Long" and ad says "Long" in Banner but Long Rifle in desc... there is a difference, not good. Are they "CB's" or normal .22 rounds... CB's are for Karnival games/ indoor ( read home/ parlor ) steel trap targets (why the low noise feature)... not outdoor, normal targets, longer ranges and certainly not for hunting. Are they "high-performance rounds" or "low velocity ammo"? Says 710 feet per second on the box... know what you are buying, and if it is true, please don't use for hunting rabbit, squirrel, gopher, etc... only paper. Beware, might not cycle .22 semi auto pistol/ rifle. Your mileage may vary, Buyer beware. Regards...
The specs are fully correct. These ARE high performance ammunition. They are High Performance, SUBSONIC ammo. And no, there is no "Karnival" (spelled with a "C") that lets you shoot these. Whoever told you that is a fucking retard that is repeating hearsay from a time before most of you were even conceived.
They used to shoot primer only rounds through pump action gallery guns. You can still get them. Aquila; for one, still makes them. These CB long actually have a charge behind them.
They haven't been carnival shooting with live ammo since the 1960's and 70's once everyone had adopted the generic Common Municiple and City Ordnance codes.
And correct, subsonic ammo will not cycle a semi-auto .22 automatically. It does not have the power to cycle your action.
And for God's sake, buy a gun that doesn't have to operate itself so you can enjoy something like this for what it is. Go out on a limb and buy a $100 used bolt/pump/lever/break over action to learn how to cycle a rifle and shoot without having to wear ear plugs.
These will ethically kill squirrel, birds and rabbit if you can do your part.
Someone will cry about how much it it to ship just one box of this in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1......
Beware, if you think CB stands for Chocolate Bullets, you're in for a surprise. These aren't made of chocolate, so I wouldn't advise eating them if that's what you're thinking of doing. But if you must, you know what they say, to each their own. (^_^)
