I hope it shows up with D2 steel. Treated properly it's very good knife steel. I wouldn't lose sleep over it, Amazon will take it back if it's not made of what's stated.
I ordered one at the $81.83 price when there were 4 left in stock, but now see there's only one left in stock and the price has gone up to $136.39. I'm hoping the satin version I ordered really is the D-2 steel version as I noticed that the black version says "1085C High-Carbon".
