• Semi automatic rotating bolt long stroke gas piston driven system, a proven design used in the most reliable self-loading firearms in the history.
• Floated barrel is the result of floated joint at gas cylinder and gas block. Relieving tension on the barrel improves accuracy on almost any firearm.
• Three-position adjustable gas valve (including “off” position) facilitates reliable functioning in the harshest environments with a wide array of ammunition, or allows the rifle to be manually cycled.
• Recoil spring has been eliminated and its function integrated into piston return spring.
• Castling feature allows for stronger rigidity and weight reduction in the rifle assembly.
• Plunger-style ejector assures even ejection pattern regardless of the load of rounds used.

• Proprietary recoil reducing compensator Designed to reduce recoil and helps to control muzzle climb in rapid firing.
• Hinged lower receiver opens like an AR for ease of cleaning and repair, whether at home or in the field.
• Ambidextrous charging handle accommodates both left and right-handed shooters and special circumstances created by specialty add-on equipment.
• Ambidextrous safety switch for both left and right-handed fire.

Lower reciever forged. It's a tank...

Scrolled through but may have missed it. Is this a forged receiver or stamped?

Got it, thanks for explaining. The fact that the MPN had a "Z" on the end made me hopeful, but needed confirmation.

This the new version not the elite. I spoke to M and M and hey said all these retailers are getting his wrong. Check out the sku. I don't think they make the elite version anymore. Plus I think the sky for elite has elite in it. If you look at my comments from April they should explain everything but I don't remember. I also called m and m and asked for clairification before I bought this rifle from buds.

I have the new normal version with the Zuk stock. Not he Elite. I heard the Older elite version had some issues as that version was still kind of in development. They've been awesome with supporting it as well. I've had questions and needed a bit of help. Responsive, super nice, and really knowledgable about the gun.

Glad to hear you like it. To clarify- Zhukov stock or no?

Great gun, love mine. Only thing I'm a little iffy on is the trigger took some used to getting used to. Mine breaks right at 3 pounds which is a little lighter than I'm used to. But so far so good. Super fun to shoot as well. Great fun for those that like 7.62x39 and want something different. Dominator I traded my Sig 716 for a Galil Ace in 308 but have not gotten it out yet. I'm super excited. The build quality is amazing and bolt super smooth. Hoping I can get it out this weekend.

Wait- you're saying this is for the new version with the Zhukov stock? The listing is for the Elite and so is the image.

I went to order one the day they sold out. I pulled up the page and it was still available (5pm PST). I hit the button to buy it and it sold out right then. Missed it by 10 seconds.

I was lying in bed at 12pm kinda bummed about it. I figured I'd check again. Maybe someone canceled their order. And there it was. Available again. I quickly ordered it and then went back to the product page and it was sold out again after my order. There was one available and I snagged it.

Whoever canceled their order, thanks!

Mine is coming in tomorrow 3/6/2017. Hopefully rumors are correct and it's the new version.

Hopefully everyone got one that wanted one. They are sold out everywhere now.... Mines in Wednesday! Glad I found this. Super excited. Now what optic should I put on it.?

Classic has both versions, this is the same as Aims. They are the new version which is what you want. Get it wherever u want. Just make sure you get the right UPC I listed above. I went the buds route as it was easier for me. Although I hate buds but what the hell...

Stay away from Palmeto. All kinds of issues not to mention their customer services sucks and you will have to upgrade have to rifle to get anywhere near this... I have a safe full of AK's and AR's so am so excited to get something completely different but has th best of both worlds. Grab it while they are at $1k although looks like a few places have them around same price. Although Tyler from M + M did say they have gotten over 10 calls today asking if this is the elite it new model. So sounds like they are selling well. Let me know what you do...

Thanks so much Tayar77 I ordered one awhile ago from Buds! Now they are sold out! Really like the Russian AK's but will give this a try! By the way I have the IWI Ace in .308 and love it! Its truly an awesome gun! Have a great night! Again thanks

Yes it's the updated version. The updated versions UPC is 794504112221. The same company does the drop shipping for the other retailers that also have the wrong description. This is the one u want. The elite version UPC is 794504112320. So if that is the UPC than stay away as it's the old elite gun.... I was able to get gun right at $1K with match function. I hate buds so badly and did not want to buy from them but giving in to save $200;). Aims has the same none elite version for $1195. You can not find a better fun for $1K in my opinion. Your never going to find anything this "different" either. Also, they only make a limited number of these so once they are gone they are gone. Just like their old m10's.... I also confirmed with Tyler from m + m that the version listed in this ad is the lattest and greatest. He assured me it is and their is no newer versions in the works. This is the final upgraded version and they are not coming out with anything newer for couple years. He did say they have a number of awesome upgrades coming down pipeline this year. Including a 12.5 inch barrel which can be installed by any idiot with a vice. There's a ton of other crap as well!!! I can't wait. Just ordered a 1-4 viper and American def mount. This thing is going to be a beast! They also guarantee 1 inch MOA!!! That's crazy on an AK...

Thanks My friend I appreciate it! I am going to pick one up also! Truly like the knock down power of an AK over an AR-15! Even though I have a ton of both! Was considering the Palmetto AK then i heard about this one!

This is the non elite version. I confirmed from m + m. They also know about the issue and are trying to correct buds and the wholesaler drop shipping these. I spoke to Tyler from M + M and he is the man!!!

I love this gun, but also am looking for the Non-Elite! Trying to figure out if this that gun! Can Someone please help?

So what is the verdict?
Is this the newest updated version with the Zhukov folding stock, forged receiver, 5/8 – 24 x 1 right hand threading, etc.
Or is it the elite with the cnc machined receiver, AR style collapsible stock, etc.
I called MM and they said because the model number has a "Z" at the end it is the newest version.

But

But the UPC listed in the description is for the Elite and the description is definitely the Elite.
Anyone know for sure?

Ok so I did confirm as well. The UPC ending in 2221 is the newest "non" elite version. The UPC ending in 2320 is the elite version. The distributes drop shipping these to all the retailers listed here also have the version wrong except for classic. Classic is an actual dealer for M + M. That why they have it right. I called buds to ask them and they are idiots. Would not confirm or even take time to check... I hate them with a passion. Anyways I am super excited to pick one of these up for $1k... That really is a deal for what you get. These guns are freaking awesome. Stay away from the Elite version. They had some issues as they were the originals and a ton of upgrades were made. Including taking over a pound off rifle, getting rid of recoil in stock, better gas controls, upgrading stock to folding Z. Plus about 10 other items. The new version is amazing. I shot them both last week and fell in love. They put the 556xi sig and mutant to shame!!! I actually like it better than the Ace. Although I still plan on picking one up in 308. This gun is the best of all worlds. It has traits in common with all the way top battle rifles. Plus it's super simple, easy to work on, and the manufacturer rocks... I can't wait!!! I'm thinking about a viper 1-4 or some sort of optic that will let me reach out a long way. Hopefully it does not disappoint as my expectations are high.

So Tayar77 Iam interested in this gun also! So is the one Buds has for sale the one to get? Or Classic , Or Aims?

Hmmm I'm getting the elite version when I run the UPC and SKU?? What did you ask them when you called? What is the Elites sku/UPC? I called m+m on Friday as well to chat about the rifle and they confirmed the model aims has IS the new version which is not the "elite".

Hmmm if you are correct than this is a smoking deal and I'm ordering right now. I actually ordered the one you referenced on Friday from Aims for $1199 but if your right I will be ordering this one now and canceling my order with Aims tomorrow. Man 1020 for the "non" elite would be a. Smoking deal!! You could get a "cheap" ak add trigger, stock, etc and be anywhere near this with similar accessories. Plus your never shooting 1 inch MOA with any AK.... The none elite version is averaging 1.5!!! Shit my Arsenel is shooting 3 or 4 inches at best. Averaging closer to 4 with decent ammo..

This is the SKU I'm seeing in Aims website which is the right version; F1MMIM10XZ. It doesn't match this one or the one on buds website.

When you say "updated" are you referring to the Elite? I'm pretty sure this is the latest model and the picture doesn't reflect which gun it really is. This one probably has the Magpul Zhukov stock whereas the one pictured is the Elite.

I talked to M+M and they claimed the UPC number matches the Zhukov stock M10X and that this one isn't the Elite. Buds, as most gun shops, have a disclaimer about the pictures saying it may not be the right one, yada, yada but will be interesting to see what people actually get. The Elite or the standard M10X.
