2) Why does requiring MIL / LEO status make this gun worth an extra $400? There is NOTHING special about this SKU and they clearly aren't offering a blue label discount.

I'm glad I got my Scorpion Evo before the panic set in. I only paid $755 and didn't need to use any special I work for the government magic paper.

This is great deal. I have not seen it for less anywhere and I watch SG and other discount sites pretty close. 2 other items: first, the program is done by the manufacture not the retailer. So don't complain to peak. Second, regarding the price point. Why would a manufacture discount this another $150??? Well below wholesale and probably under their cost. They are not a charity organization. I think this is a solid gesture from CZ and the retailer, it does show their gratitude to those who serve our country and are under appriciated. Please remember there is barely any margin in firearms now days. So an extra 10% discount on very competitive price already Is more significant that you would think. The one item I do not agree with is why the hell currentmilitary are not included with this promotion. Does not make sense, although I bet it comes back to the tax breaks CZ gets for offering these discounts/programs. They probably don't get credit for active military. Don't ask me how that's possible but it would not suprise me. There is always a motive behind every offer like this, especially with big business and it rarely has to do with "doing the right thing". This is free enterprise at its finest. Cheers!

No love for nurses as usual. If EMTs and fire fighters qualify I don't see why nurses always get excluded. Maybe there are to many of us? But this seems like a good deal for those who qualify.

Unfortunately there's not even $100 of profit in the current deal . If I could sale a $500 cz Scorpion and cz would sale them to FFLs for $450 I would do it in a heartbeat . It is what is folks.

Nice to offer a deal to those who served the country but this is not much of a deal. Just a way to make them feel like they are getting a deal. Knock off $150 + and make it real. This is going for the same prices to the public from other dealers.

Most veterans seperate from the service without retiring.

This is a great price. I picked one up for $720 5 months ago from tombstone. That was the lowest I had seen until this. This is a smoking deal and ton of gun for less than $700! Heck you can almost stay right around $700 if you ass the Kak blade and buffer. That's a must on this and don't forget to upgrade the safety as it's super annoying and digs into your hand. Other than that this thing rocks!

Wow those sure dropped in price fast. I feel like they were $900 a few weeks ago
