I have the Freedom Arms version of this revolver, 4 rounds and 1 inch barrel and I have not found even brass cased ammo that won't expand too much to make it unusable for more than one shot.
I have fired .22 long rifle out of it,(without the .22LR cylinder) with much better results. BTW- is this really dangerous? I have seen them sold with both cylinders as an option but don't know if this is necessary.
I've fired at least 3 or 4 boxes and haven't had any problems. If this is a potential issue, I would certainty like to know.
Also, and plus, moar, the front sight fell off a year into my ownership. (1983), really lousy brazing. Not that the sight is of any real use.
Haven't shot it in more that 20 years, not even sure where it is right now, somewhere in a safe in one of my places, taking up space that another gun could be using, but not very much space, to be sure.

Accident waiting to happen. ..

How so? I guess if you don't know how to safely operate it then it would be an accident waiting to happen. Couldn't you say the same about any firearm, knife, or piece of machinery? The hammer on this gun rests in a slot between rounds. You have to cock it and then pull the trigger to fire it. If YOU KNOW HOW TO USE IT, as with any firearm or other inanimate object, it isn't accident prone at all. Of course, keep out of reach of children and the uninformed.

DO NOT USE aluminum cased Aquilla .22 WMR in this. The case expands too much and the cylinder wont rotate. This effect turns the pistol into a single shot. I have the 1" version and I like it. However the 1" version will not get hollow points to open up. I think I might buy this one too.

a loveable gun, with a few easy to spot weak points.
PRO: as a "get off me gun" it's superb, the definition of a pocket pistol. sized about like a 12 gauge shell with mini handle it disappears into a pocket. 22mag is not far off the ballistics of the much vaunted 5.7x28...not sure which set of misconceptions that says more about! Can be shot ~accurately if one puts in some time, and has realistic expectations
CON- single action only, silly small= inaccurate for most, can be hard to control for some, not a regular fold out cylinder (that's the "sidewinder" model that ~$200 more) as such its slow and somewhat tedious to reload, mine cut up my finger till I rounded a few edges on the back of the trigger,

All in all I'm happy and would buy again, unless I had extra $'s in which case I'd think about the sidewinder. hell it's fun to shoot, offers a challenge and is right at home in my pocket for "last resort"
