Pretty sure I can deal with the extra 1.5" to save $200 of the price and $200 off a tax stamp.

I say that too, but I also forget that you can have any barrel length on that lower. So you can swap upper around as you wish. Adds some value.

Ughh agree with everyone's feedback. I've been saying for the last couple years that colt is crazy. Not to mention who wants to short barrel a 14.5 inch AR.... All the headaches of SBR for 1.5 inch??? Just pin the break and be done with it. Or get a proper barrel length for SBR. 7.5-10.5. Maybe 12.5 depending on caliber...
