Same experience here. First 200 rounds some hiccups but now it runs flawlessly even suppressed.
Poor Quality- Not hardly. Use CCI, Thunderbolt, Remington Golden. Have two of these, different colors. Both function great. You want cheap , and wear out quick, buy Chiappa. Does not apply here.
I have one of these and have had really no major issues and I'm into it around 1000 rounds now. The first 200 rounds I had a few fte's and ftf's but now it's functioning just fine. Trigger has smoothed out and everything is good. I think they just need a good break in, kept well cleaned and lubed. I use frog lube products. Maybe I'm lucky?
GSG guns use poor quality materials. They were making this exact pistol for sig and the slides keep breaking - sig no longer sell the mosquito
Too bad--it looks so promising on paper. Tempting features: railed, looks like a P226, suppressor-ready. Even looks like the sights are taller to accommodate a can. But their reputation is the pits. You might get lucky and get a good one, or may be an OK toy if you like to tinker & experiment with different ammo. There are much better options out there for a little more money.
Yes, nice looking - which is why I purchased one when they were Sigs. Sig would not stand behind them as GSG were using their name and paying for it --- cost $100 more. After about 200 rnds, the slide started making a grinding noise - we stopped shooting it. This also has a terrible trigger pull. If ANYONE want to buy one - I'll sell you my sig.
Well that sold out fast...
