Classic Firearms has been running blem versions of both the 7.62x39 and 7.62x51 versions for $999.99, and they've been in and out of stock. Snag one while (if) you can...

True, but the7.62x39s were back in-stock briefly before selling out again. I'd keep checking back to see if they get any more in.

That's a lot of shekels for a warmed-over AK- b-b-but it's an Israeli gun so it must be sew kewl much awesum derp derp. Anybody that spends more than $600 on an AK/AK clone should have their head examined.

I guess you could machine better yourself for less? Probably not. Stfu. You're some faggot that trolls posts but doesn't own shit and uses words like derp like a fucking 10 year old. Grow a pair.

Agreed on the gen 2 716. They look very nice! I actually really liked my 716 but the handguard was a deal breaker. I could have dealt with the weight as it was built like a tank. I've had my eyes on the Galil pistols as well. Although took a plunge and just traded one of My PWS mod2's for a Krebs KV13 mod 2. It will be here next week. I can't wait as was looking at a few different higher end AKs than ran into this guy. I don't think I would have spent the $2k outright on one but only had about $1300 in my PWS so the trade was no brainer. How much you selling galil trigger for? IM me if your wanting to sell although don't you live in Alaska? The shipping got to be a killer;)

I have the 308 version and really like it. I ended up trading my sig 716 for it and only paid $1,350 for that. So It's worth that in my opinion. I also think the 308 is priced more accurately as most quality battle rifles start at about $1,500. The two things I don't like is optics are a hard match with the rail setup and the handgaurd is a little weird but I bought an aftermarket extension that works well. Regarding this version it's a little pricey but a higherend AK or AK variants are going to run you a grand. Sure you can pick up a Wasr but I don't know they are comproable. I will say the quality on these guns is amazing. Nutnfancy just did a good review on this model as well. It was shooting sub MOA which is pretty impressive. I don't have enough time behind my 308 confirm it will shoot the same accuracy but I actually like the trigger on it. Long pull, 2 stage, but break is crisp and repeatable. Also, the 308 version is the lightest battle rifle I own. To my knowledge only the scar 17s is lighter. Most AR's in 308 are going to weigh almost a pound heavier. My PWS MK2 is noticably heavier and not as manurable. I would pick this version up at $1,300 or less. A Sam7 will run you $1,200. Or sig 556xi $1250, M10x m+m $1,100, quality AR in 7.62x39 a grand. So it don't think the $1,400 is way over priced but if it came down a bit more I think it would be a competitive option for those looking for a really high quality, reliable, accurate semi in 7.62x39. Especially if your looking for something different because you always have a few AK's. Just some food for thought.

On a side note Alien Armor is the company that makes a really nice affordable rail extension for the Ace. I just got mine and love it.

I sold my .308 Galil to get another Sig 716. I like the adjustable gas system, and the piston system. The Gen II's are a lot lighter. I still have three others Galil's, and will more than likely get the .308 rifle again. I really like to shoot the Galil pistol in .308, and 7.62x39. Check them out. The 7.62x39 pistol with brace is dam sexy. They do make an after market trigger for them. I decided not to put them in two of the Galils. Anyone need one I will make you a deal on them

Trigger is so`so` on these weapons. Should be a better trigger for $1,400 price.

Israeli company and design but manufactured in Harrisburg, PA as Hunglow stated. I own the X95 and my Dad has one of their Jerichos. High quality manufacturer. Both are extremely accurate and comfortable.

Made in Israel... Sent to untied States, full auto parts swapped out... Sold in the states...

Lol, where do you get that idea? You can't even import a barrel that was once part of a machine gun, much less a whole rifle.

Besides, what full auto parts do you imagine fit into a receiver with only two axis pin holes?

No offense, but your comment is completely incorrect.

This is the best price I have seen on these. I have one, but can't really say if they are worth this much money.

The reason why the price is so, is because they don't mass produce this things. Only one company makes this weapon, so, supply and demand. Isn't capitalism great? I love it.

I would rather buy a gun under capitalism than communism. Opps,,,,I forgot; you can't even buy this dam gun in a communist country. Hail yeah,,,,isn't capitalism great. Long Live America.
