Description

Item Number: 60298
The SUB-2000 is a self-loading carbine for pistol cartridges. The SUB-2000 has a greatly enhanced accuracy and extended range compared to a handgun. The superior precision is also very useful against small or partially covered targets at shorter range. The amount of training to master the SUB-2000 is only a fraction of that required for a handgun.
The SUB RIFLE-2000 has been developed from Kel-Tec`s highly successful SUB-9 rifle. Although retaining some features of the old rifle, the SUB-2000 is a completely new design. Emphasis has been put on consumer safety, but without impeding the performance. Polymers are used to a large extent, resulting in increased durability and reduced price.
The bolt can be locked in the rear position by the operating handle. The main safety is of protected push bolt type disconnecting the trigger bar and interlocking the hammer and sear. By rotating the barrel upwards and back, the SUB-2000 can be reduced to a size of 16 x 7 to facilitate secure storage and utilize the internal deployment lock which is operated by a proprietary key. The rear sight is of aperture type and the fluorescent front sight can be adjusted for windage and elevation. The SUB-2000 can easily be disassembled for cleaning or inspection without tools.

I paid $380 shipped for mine recently from Whittaker guns. This company is obviously trying to gouge the desperate. Oh well I'll remember to never buy anything from them

Wow less then 4 hrs and there out of stock I've been looking for years for one of these I finally paid 499.00 from wise arms ad yesterday and finally own one. I don't feel bad paying a extra 100.00$ knowing now that a have one and can quit looking. Especially if God forbid Hillary get elected. Finding one of these in a Glock 9mm in stock is like hunting a fricken unicorn. But now I can put all my Glock kci 33 Rd stick mags and 50 Rd drums to good use

Great. This is the first time Ive seen a Kel-tec that uses a glock 9mm mag (not some useless S&W or Beretta version) ... and it's immediately out of stock.

And not to mention this is the old version.

I have been trying for years to get one of these.
This seemed like a great deal..., but out of stock.

What is the deal with Kel-Tec?

Took a gamble and ordered 2 hoping they're the new Gen 2 model! Called Bud's and they said they weren't sure, but they also said they just received this shipment from Kel-Tec directly so it seems to be a pretty good chance these are Gen 2 (since other dealers have received Gen 2s in the last month). But if not, $322 is the lowest price I've ever seen for one of these....I paid $500+ each for the 2 I have now!

Well, I took my Sub2K to the range for the first time and fired less then 100 shots when this happened

Anyways, no big deal, just that the bolt is stuck and I cannot pull it out. Otherwise Kel-Tec could just send me a new buffer(plug) so that I don't have to send the firearm back.

Ouch, that sucks. When you get it working again, check out the accessories at http://www.tacticoolproducts.com.... They have a buffer cylinder that is suppose to reduce the recoil and prevents the bolt from moving as far back. I've added it to my Sub2k and it was less than $10. Not sure how big the difference is, but I feel better having it...

Just received the Sub2K Glock 19 version, ordered it from Dean's Gun Shop on monday for $299 + $30 S/H. It is now on backorder (at the time of me ordering it, it was showing in-stock), so it's a pretty good chance if you backorder it that you will be the first one on the list. This is an awesome little rifle, although has a plastic feel to it, i'm very happy with it. I will report back with some range review soon.

Was in my local gun shop, had a .40 cal Sub-2000 in Glock 22 mags for $319. Great gun, but this is not a good deal.
