Whoever posted this as a deal, should be banned from posting future deals. That is all. Carry on.
Just found out from Sandman that my Kimber Super Carry Pro is a POS. I'm sad. Probably sell it, or give it away. I guess I thought it was a well made, hand crafted gun from their Custom Shop. Sure handles and shoots like one. Extremely accurate, fires any ammo I feed it. Lightweight and a joy to carry. Everything you could want in a 1911 and then some. Still trying to figure out what makes it a POS though.
Spending this kind of money $1500+ on a pistol is ridiculous. Just my opinion. Probably costs $250 to make.
Obviously people do not know the quality and performance of a Dan Wesson .45. You get very close to Wilson Combat / Nighthawk / Ed Brown quality for $1K less. I've got a CBOB, and will never part with it. Not sure about whether this is a deal, or not, but that price does not seem bad considering Kimber wants that for some of their POS .45's.
Who would pay that much for a 1911 when I can get 3 for that price. RETARDED
Just curious, why 2 thumbs down on this one?
Is it that the Dan isn't well known enough by the group or purely pricing?
I have a pointman major and wish it had the V Bob treatment.
