WOW @ $379 how can you not buy this, I own this one with a threaded barrel if I didn't I would have scoop this puppy up, I love mine, and all the crap hear about the trigger is irrelevant, just as good if not better then my Glock triggers, feels better then my Glocks , Sig or anything else I own

This is one of my favorite guns. Yes, I put a new APEX trigger on it. So what! I don't like most gun's triggers. The only pistol out of the box that has a great trigger is a 1911 or a Walther. Otherwise, all the new guns have crappy triggers. Some worse than others. If you want a pistol with all the bells and whistles, don't buy a low priced pistol. You get what you pay for. Do your research and don't think a low priced gun is bad just because it does't have all the stuff you want. Spend more and get what you want.

I can tell there's a bunch of kids playing on this one so here's a real review from a grown up, you ready kids? The old trigger sucks, The new trigger suck too. I played with four of them just to make sure. I wanted to like this gun BUT it feels like it was filled with sand. Anybody else sick of over priced guns with Shit triggers? Why is Walther, CZ, HK and 1 out of ten 1911's the only guns with a good trigger. Hell I'll even say S&W wheel guns. The stock up is over if you want to sell guns you better start making something worth buying. Glock, Springfield and Smith your rep is running thin.

"I'll even say S&W wheel guns." have a good trigger? There's no comparison if you know the full extent of the internal mechanisms in a revolver. The thing that made Glock such a big fat hairy deal thirty plus years ago was the trigger pull. The first pull is long and heavy like a double action revolver. That's the biggest reason old school cops finally began to transition from their revolvers to the semiautomatic pistols. I resisted going to the spongy scratchy striker fired pistol but now that I've completed the Glock armorer's course I love them equally as much as my other guns. Little effort is needed to turn them into very nice triggers and firing mechanisms. Polishing contact surfaces, replacing springs, and a change of trigger connector bar makes it into a totally different gun. Last month I picked up a new Hk VP40 Tactical model and was not at all surprised to learn they are extremely similar, especially in the trigger mechanisms. I'll tell you what though, the trigger on my 1911 Tactical Law Enforcement II from Kimber is outstanding. No comparison. Only modified versions of it could be more crisp and clean.

I got my eye set on CZ P10 C, but updated MP9 looks appealing ... and price is good for new release.. once priced $399, they won't be able to make them fast enough..

Just an FYI and a little foot-in-mouth for you chuckle fucks touting shit before owning one. The 2.0s have the Pro Shop triggers in them from the CORE series competition guns.

They're good triggers; not an APEX; but far better than the Gen 1s.

This still needs a new trigger. S&W drops the ball once again.

The Gen4 looks much better than m2.0 and the Springfield is a joke with Mod.2, grip zone and that goofy grip safety. The front serrations on this are a joke, and the trigger is still the same hinged junk that will need to be replaced. I own four M&Ps and the only improvement I see here is the grip texture.

You mean like how Glock puts "Gen 4" on their slides. Or how Springfield puts "Mod 2" on theirs?

It's not that bad, they did it so that people who aren't gun people, would be able to know the difference. Most folks buy guns because someone they know told them how great it is, or they read about it in a magazine. This way they know they are getting the newer gun. lus S&W gets free advertising of their new model.

I can't believe they put m2.0 on the slide. Maybe grip zone next?

how is that different then Glock putting "GEN 4" OR "GEN 5" on the slide?
