To answer the two previous questions,I have probably 10 different type of AK mags and all fit great in this rifle.I can't even say that about my milled Arsenal.This rifle comes with bayonet lug,cleaning rod and integral side rail for scope mount.After more than 1000 rounds really no complaints.This thing looks great with one of those new style Bulgarian bayonets.
What magazines fit in this AK without modification?
Wish price goes down to bellow 500, and who can confirm that it could accept side scope mount? is it what they call integrated scope rail. Sorry I am not an AK guy, do not know much about options.
Also not like it matters much but what about cleaning rod and other cleaning tools that used to sit inside butt stock of soviet built units ? I guess it is not something included with this one ? Just asking, not trying to say that gun is bad.
Picked up my rifle from my FFL today.Fit and finish is very nice,rivet work is impeccable.Cleaned and lubed her up and shot 200 rounds in the back 40 flawless.I'm a happy camper.Looks awesome with an east german bayonet.
In for one,I’m optimistic this might be the American made AK that’s worth a damn. Already have 2 pre ban high end euro AKs so we’ll give this one a shot.

Riley Defense is not associated with any firearm manufacturer and produces its own rifles; not a re-brand or remake of some other manufacturer. Any reference otherwise is 100% incorrect. Please call the shop (www.Rileydefense.com...) if you have any questions. Just to list a few significant differences between Riley Defense and the referenced competition:
Riley Defense has a black oxide finish as opposed to a parkerized (grayish) finish
Riley Defense doesn't use the barrel as a bucking bar
Riley Defense doesn't use a recoil buffer for the bolt carrier to function properly because the geometry is right, unlike the referenced competition.
Riley Defense Pins the piston horizontally as opposed to vertically.
There are more differences such as: receiver, trigger group, etc...the list goes on but you get the point.
You're encouraged to contact us to make sure for yourself that we are who we say we are.
There are suspicions that these are just the same old IO Inc AKs rebranded. Stay clear of them...
