Had purchased CDNN MC28c with 3 mags for $199 on clearance sale and it was a great purchase. 1st range trip My wife had a single fte, but it was due to limp wristing. I put through 45 rounds immediately after without issue. 2nd range trip I ran another 200 rounds without any issues. Only mild irritation is my bore snake got caught when feeding though magwell.

Why would you buy this when the new Ruger 9mm is the same price? If this was like 125 or 150, I'd think about it. Not at 279.00 One year warranty. Ruger (and others ) are Lifetime.

I feel like I am on a information Merry go Round. Gun is labelled Zenith. Picture shows Girsan. Zenith is a American Company but may or may not make the gun in Turkey. Maybe Sar makes the gun? Gun won't need parts . Zenith can't get parts. Barrels last for 30,000 rounds so who cares?

This has to be the most misunderstood firearm I have encountered. I said , last time I posted, that I would not post on this again. Sorry evidently I lied. Oh, and lastly not imported anymore. No offense to anyone but there sure are a lot of different ideas of who the father is and what DNA he had.
Geez.....

Made by girsan for Turkish military & other contracts, imported by zenith & century, a lot of parts are compatible with m&p but it's a better build for far less than a m&p. It's really a Turkish built beefed up m&p that was sold off because of low interest

This pistol is made by Girsan in Turkey. They were originally imported by Zenith and when Zenith decided to get out of the handgun business they dumped them off on CDNN. The mags are fifteen round and there is no place in America where you can buy spare magazines. You can make a CZ 75 mag work if you are willing and capable of doing some tooling on the magazine. They do not fit out of the box.

I own a couple of Girsan pistols and the workmanship is excellent for the price. However, I got a steak dinner that says you will not get a copy of any warranty that works here in the U.S.A. So, if you break it be prepared to eat it or shell out. Girsan makes some nice firearms, but the only remaining Girsan distributor is Chiappa and they are not responsible for warranties on firearms they do not distribute.

I wish Girsan would get a full fledged distribution network going in the States because their firearms are not garbage. Unfortunately, as it stands, if there is an issue with this Girsan model you could well end up with an expensive paper weight on your hands considering the lack of parts and service.

Zeniths gunsmiths will service them...just give them a call. I now have about 3500 rounds through my Girsan Regard , not one hiccup or malfunction with Damn near any ammo you can name...2 inch group at 20 yards. Great sights and very smooth trigger! I just cleaned it last week for the second time!

I was and have been very interested in buying this pistol for several months. They made a really nice looking MP5 clone in the past. Looks like they are made bye the sar arms people possibly if that's the case it is a good sign.

I would take either one of them over this thing. I can buy mags cheap for them, and they have lifetime warranty. CDNN buys up closeouts. In a few months, the price will drop on these as they will want to move them out.

Well, I could take the bait on what league or level we are on with buying power but I won't.

Ever send a NEW gun back to the MFG repair shop. I have with several different brands. Waiting on a NEW gun now from a well known respected maker to do its fix and return it to me. This is America and do what you want with your money. Best wishes and my last post on the issue.

I guess we are not in the same league...I call $279, a disposable pistol...who the fuck needs parts! After 10,000 rounds...who cares? (And the barrels are rated for 30,000 rounds) These are very high quality guns!!!

I Love Deals like this!!!!!!

Don't worry gun won't need parts. Are you kidding? Every Gun is going to need something- sometime. Spend a bunch of fruitless time trying to keep your investment working. Been there and done that. Would you buy a car without a service or parts supplier ? These types of deals are junk regardless how good the product might have been. Buy something you can count on !

After 30,000 rds in a striker fired gun its time to replace the whole gun. They are not made to last forever.

Zenith still has parts, but you won't need them...I have 2 Zenith pistols.... very high quality... you will not be disappointed!

Interesting that Zenith would tell you they have parts given that they have been unable to get a single extra magazine for this pistol since they first tried to carry them. Did they provide you with a list of what parts they carry and how long they intend to carry them? Is a list available somewhere because there is absolutely nothing on thier web site about support or parts for the Girsan firearms. I would want to be sure the support is in place before spending a cent on a firearm without some notion of what I might be in for in the future. Sometimes these deals can turn out to be pretty sour in the long run.

No one in the U.S.A. is importing this firearm anymore. No parts no extra magazines. This is a pretty decent gun for the price, but could turn into a high dollar paperweight at some point.

Most guns are clones as there is not that many handgun designs but many gun manufactures and models. Some clones are better than the original (ex. many 1911 clones modeled after the first Browning model) and some clones are not so good. I have shot the S&W MP and it was ok, so I would not see how this clone could not be on par with the "original" but at lower price point although I would not buy either one.

This is a S&W M&P clone it is supplied with 3 magazines the right to market a pistol ! A man once said to me "How many guns do you really need?"I never had any person say that before Do we buy firearms because of a good deal or need- addication ? This however is a good deal But I wonder how low the price will go?
