Mountain House products are very good. They range from decent to actually very tasty unlike their competitor Wise food products which make disgusting nasty swill that is almost inedible unless you are starving.
I've tried the MH chicken teriyaki before. I thought it was pretty good considering it was just hot water into a bag. My brother thought it was a bit too sweet, which is strange because usually he's not picky about food at all. The rice was cooked well, chicken wasn't too rubbery all things considered.
One of these pouches ended up serving three, though we did have other foods. I think one person, hungry after a day's work, could easily finish off a pouch all by themselves.
