I looked at many companies and ended up buying at my local dealer. By the time you add in tax/FFL fee it was cheaper just to buy local stock. Also you can then inspect it before buying.

Do you have to have a license to buy a lower or any gun/gun parts on here? Can someone explain to me?

Just saw Fully Loaded had them priced at $30 each. no code needed

Ummm codes are a joke like this company

SG advertises everything at member pricing, not comparable to other vendors. They also make you pick from a list of their connected FFLs. Mine is not on their list and the ones they list are farther and charge about twice as much. FAIL

You don't HAVE to use a FFL on their list. I recently ordered a gun and my FFL wasn't on the list. I had my FFL dealer send SG his license and didn't have any issues.

I buy my Anderson lowers from Cabelas three at at time, cost is $50 each plus tax, but I use gift cards I purchased for $40 for a $50 discount and they end up $42.80 each. Cableas gun pickup process takes about three times longer than picking up a firearm from my preferred FFL due to the complexity of their process, so I just make sure I have time in my schedule to deal with their process. If I was to buy them from SG, they would cost $59 a piece after I paid SG and FFL for the transfer.

So what would an entire finished AR pistol with a 7-10 inch Barrel cost from start to finish? I have seen rifles and pistols for $400 and less, can you build one for less than that?

I just finished 2 from Davison Defense one was $174 minus the BCG and Lower which I got a spikes tactical PHU MOD for 35$ pawn shop, Zero Fail nic Bo with amb charging handle for 119, so around 300 bucks a 7.5 inch pistol is pretty sweet,
The 2nd was also Davidson kit used a left over 80% lower from aero precision, 7.5 in Gorilla Extreme chrome barrel with zero fail nicBo BCG, chrome flash forwarder, heavy duty buffer and pistol brace kit complete kit was like 419$ but is sweet as hell and the trigger is 2stage and light.
Both shoot fast and tight groups, for pistols.

You could get under $400 but you have to be patient and buy piece parts on sale. Also I always account for shipping, taxes, optics, etc, when I do total cost. $400 for something somewhat nice is cheap.

I was caught completely by surprise by the sudden drop in the price of firearms, ammo and accessories following the election. I also figured once the stashes and surplus FFL holders had were sold off the prices would adjust accordingly. However the bottom has clearly not been reached, which fot true gunsluts like myself is fantastic!

Also, the arguments over lower receiver quality get rather old. The U.S. only has a handful of companies making lowers in house. Milspec is milspec and as long as the AIM 9009 or ISO standards are met you can rest easy regardless of the name stamped, carved, etched, or engraved on your new product.

AIM has these on sale for $36

Primary arms had this on sale for 40 dollars a piece with a limit of 3.

Ha, at that point the backgroun check and transfer fees at my local gun store would run more than the lower itself. I can get a regular Anderson lower right now locally for $60 OTD.

Valid point. I have seen these lowers locally on sale for $50 plus tax. (Your results may vary)

Love to see gun related items are gradually dropping in price after election, keep it coming.

got 1 before election from primary and love it! definitely gone switch it out with another lower for cold weather hunting.

Never going to happen. I bet this is the lowest. Anderson,is probably pulling less than $5 profit per lower at this price.

Even if they were to go out of business tomorrow some larger company would buy all of these for a small discount just to keep them from getting on the streets to cheap.

Anderson is making a hell of a lot more than $5 profit each. Thes only cost a few bucks to make. I bought a couple from Primary Arms a while back for $34.99 each. They had both the closed trigger guard ones as well as the standard trigger guard ones for the same price. And they had a limit of 2 per order.
Heres a copy & paste from my order history

Won't happen. At $44 Anderson probably makes $3-4 profit per lower.

Cost of the metal and machines and upkeep makes these barely profitable except in mass quantity

The days of noninnovative economy grade companies pumping out economy grade parts... is over.

The time of innovation and quality HAS RETURNED.

Die Anderson, PSA, Hardened, etc! MWUHAHAHAHA.

Chuckling thinking about all the people that invested in buying crates of these things planning for resale after a HRC win. I'm betting I'll be able to pick these up for $30 in another few months or so. Ahhh...free enterprise.

They'll get their moment at some point. Barring a drastic turn-around with this nation, the anti-gun progressives will end up in power again.

Until then, I'd like to see some Sub $40 stripped lower again myself :D
