The Holosun HS503GU red dot sight uses a circle dot reticle. The battery is in a round, screw on turret on the outside of hte optic. However, with the technology in this light you will rarely have to change it. One CR2032 battery can last 2 years if left on constantly. But, with the automatic on/off feature which uses motion your battery will last much longer than 2 years. It has an unlimted field of view adn unlimited eye relief.

Man I have 3 holosuns and love them. Actually one is a true dot but Samethjng only $60 cheaper. Never knew they made this with ACSS. I just bought some new sights from Amazon and they are going right back for this. I have the ACSS on my primary arms 2.5 and 4-16. Love them both but like the holosun for I magnified red dot. This is awesome as I thought you were crazy when I first saw this.
