I ordered one.. probably one more tomorrow. Bought some Fed. Hydra-Shok 90gr. I did the obligatory Google search to see what ammo functions best.. Fed also has a 99gr HST ammo, wasn't sure if the heavier bullet. would affect reliability or not.. but for $140, man.. not bad..

**Not sure why it shows I left a 2.5 star

So like many Taurus pistols, this one is hit or miss. Had to send one back because the slide kept locking open on a full mag. Seems to be a common issue. The pros however are plenty. With the right pocket holster this thing fits perfectly in my front pocket. I hardly know it's there. Trigger pull is long but smooth, much better than Gen I LCP. It's as accurate at ten yards as I could hope for it to be. I just need for the thing to work. On balance, I've bought both a Shield and Bodyguard (with ostensibly higher perceived quality/reliability) and each had to be returned to S&W for repairs.

It's an inexpensive little gun. Weather it works when you need it is entirely arbitrary. Would I carry it, no whenever someone asks this type of question it is usually to begin an argument

why wouldn't you carry it? have you ever owned of one of these?

I paid $169 a little while ago, and like a couple commenters on here I have not warmed up to it. Put around 400 rnds thru. It has a place in my collection but it makes the list of 'fire once a year because I should.'

That's what you get for buying cheap crap. Quality>Quantity.

Have this gun and love it. Never a problem other than the price of ammo. Can't beat the size and price now is unbelievable. Definitely would get one if I didn't already have.

Great deal. I've had mine for about a year and a half. Always have it, and forget I do sometimes. You won't regret it.

WesternStar, can you elaborate on your experience with this model and why you consider it a POS?

The firing pin fell out of mine. Taurus sent me a new one rather quick. Look it up, google it, whatever.... pretty common.

Not to mention the trigger pull, like most Taurus guns is like a half mile.

zpot, Thanks for the information and I did find some threads on the forum about the firing pin retaining pin coming out and causing issues. I'm not sure if this was on the earlier models that I understand had some issues, but it sounds like a little loc-tite cleared that issue up for most or a trip to Florida. However, I'm never a fan of a brand new firearm having issues like this as it should be caught by QC. As far as the long trigger pull, for a pocket gun with no safety I prefer a longer pull. I've carried a Kel-tec P32 for 15 years and it has the long trigger pull as well, so that's a non-issue imho. Not to mention I have medium sized hands so it doesn't affect me as much. I was more curious as to the OP's reasons or if he was just your typical Taurus bashing troll with no true experience. Once again, thanks for the info!

Yeah no prob. I like the gun, it in my pocket 90% of the time. I'm 6'5" so my hand and index finger are a little big for that specific firearm. It's taken me a lot of time to figure out my grip and pull to be consistent with it. Overall I like it. I kept it, fixed it and carry it.

MUST RESIST, AH! So tempting, I really don't want to add .380 to my collection but this price is making that difficult... Please sell out quick!
