there is no fking way i'd pay 50 dollars for it. and dont even compare this shit to 600 optics because they cost 100 times more to produce. i just paid 9 dollars for a Butler Creek #17 obj lens cover for my MRO. perfect fit and i can now store my rifle upright.

25 dollars for that piece of "injection molded" rubber is fair with R&D factored in

$50.00 ( plus shipping ) for a cheap piece of rubber and two cheap pieces of plastic... it took them A YEAR to come up with this junk (at THAT price, anyway!); the Aimpoint cover is half as much.... there's no way I'm spending more than $29.99... whoever set that $50.00 price is smoking crack cocaine!!!

The aimpoint covers do not have translucent caps that allow you to keep them closed and still see the dot. This is a unique feature which obviously cost more to manufacture.

You're really going to tell me that the Chinese, with their economies of scale, can't cut two clear pieces of plastic into a circle? And THAT justifies the extra $20.00? Don't even get me started on the fact that it probably costs $4.00 to make one (including shipping) LOL Give them your money, if you'd like!

They are US made NOT chinese and the shipping is FREE. Thanks for your opinion but most purchasing a $600 optic do not feel the same way as you regarding a durable cover that will last

injection molded rubber. send the mold to China then sell it for 10 dollars.

people who bash Chinese made products are normally from the group which can only afford products from China.

there is harshly any Chinese brand in US market, about 75% profit is kept by US companies which dictate specs and materials for the products they order from China.

when you buy a cheap product, wtf are you expecting?
there are always other choices, the question is, can you afford it with your high school diploma?

You can keep buying your Chinese optics. I'll keep buying Aimpoints and not looking back. People that like Chinese stuff can usually only afford Chinese stuff.

Screw China x100. Screw how they cause our economy to lose TRILLIONS of dollars each year. Screw you thinking they are something great that we should all fund. The steal the R&D that costs our companies to do, they rip it off, and then use crap materials and crap labor to make crap products.

I DO like the product (I really do); I've been looking forward to it since it was announced. I also really like Arms Unlimited (I really DO)... But...

"Most people purchasing a $600.00 optic do not feel the same way as you regarding a durable cover that will last" - So THAT is why they're $50.00?? ... you're charging that much because you CAN (you indirectly admitted it)... not because it's a fair, ETHICAL price point that's even MILDLY indicative of the cost to produce it?

Again... I like the product and LOVE the fact that it's American made, but the aggressive pricing will make many pass- I promise.

... and for what it's worth- I suppose you're right: anyone foolish enough to pay $600.00 for an MRO (they can easily be had in the $400 range) is probably foolish enough to give you $50.00 for a piece of rubber with two pieces of plastic in it!

Slow down turbo, we didn't set the retail price of $59.99 which was determined by Trijicon. We do not know what it costs to manufacture, package, market etc this item but we know what we pay them for it and we discount it as much as we can off full retail

And same with the Trijicon MRO itself, full retail is $600+, we sell for much less than that

Both are great products as Trijicon is known for and at great prices which we are known for

TangoDown has the same cover with solid caps that you can not see through for $30, it is a little less but most people including myself think $20 is worth being able to keep your lens protected and still utilize the optic as if it were not covered
