Description
The Primary Arms PAC 2.5X was designed from the ground up to be the ideal AR-15 CQB and mid-range optic. This 2.5X magnification, compact scope features an etched version of our Patented CQB-M ACSS bullet drop ranging reticle that requires no illumination. The etched reticle requires no illumination, but 12 brightness settings are powered by a CR2032 battery. PAC2.5X is waterproof and fog resistant, with a 1 year warranty. A standard 1913 Picatinny mount is included, but the PAC 2.5X is also compatible with all industry standard full size ACOG mounts! The standard mount can be removed for use on AR15/M16 carry handles in conjunction with our carry handle screw, product code 92581A320. Front and rear flip up caps are included as shown. An optional top Picatinny rail (product code PAPRPS) and kill flash (product code PAM4KF) are also available for purchase.

Guess I’ll answer my own question. I went ahead & got one of these from a 3rd party online seller (kadrmaskreations.com, great price & outstanding service by the way--no affiliation). The documentation inside confirms it is prismatic. Nice clear glass; I’m getting used to the reticle, and so far holding zero after 80 rounds of 300BLK 150gr supersonic. Very nice scope.
I checked the eBay deal,but I got this msg during checkout.

I wasn't able to check out with the mobile page. Snagged the PAC5X for $190 after running their eBay Page in desktop view.
Primary Arms has an Ebay store where they sell their "blemished" runs. They are selling these for $159.99 with free shipping. Ordered one last week along with a 4-14 x 44 FFP ACSS R-grid scope ($219.99, again a "blemished model") and received both few days ago. Very nice for the money and I still cannot figure out where the blemish is.
Can someone verify if this is a prism scope? The PA website doesn't use that term in the description but it appears to be constructed like their other prismatic models. It's a selling point for me because of my astigmatism.
