A while back they had those 'Blue Triggers' that had the Black rain Ordinance's logo removed. They sold for as little as $89
These triggers were manufactured by Rise Armaments after Black Rain backed out of the contract. Black Rain's Jared Moser emphatically denied they had anything to do with these triggers, He is absolutely, totally and completely FULL OF SHIT. Black Rain did a Youtube video response in regard to those Blue triggers, and that totally backfired, as it only further showed that they are full of shit, and showed Black Rain cannot be trusted, at all. Black Rain was directly involved with that trigger, after screwing Rise Armaments after they made them, thus why the Black Rain logo was milled off, and Rise was forced to liquidated them. Black rain even invented bullshit stories about non existent people in their video reply.
The lesson learned her is simple, Black Rain cannot be trusted on any level. But the other lesson I learned is Rise Armaments makes helluva good triggers.
I bought one (I actually bought two, one was for a friend) of those 'Blue Triggers' and it hands down was the best bang for the buck drop in trigger every bought. Matter of fact, I'm a big fan of Wilson Combat TTU triggers. I didn't need one, but since the Blue trigger was so decent, I plopped down some cash and bought Rise Armaments RA-535 to kick it's tires. (I probably wouldn't have done so, but the Blue trigger piqued my curiosity of Rise's flagship trigger)
Long story short, I can't tell which trigger I liked better, the Wilson TTU or the Rise, RA-535 Both are great drop in triggers and you cannot go wrong with either.
I thank Black Rain and their ability to lie and bullshit people, had they not tried to screw over one of their manufacturers, I would most likely have ever purchased a Rise trigger. So their being douchebags did me a favor.
I still have that $89 trigger in my beater AR, and it's still kicking ass and I very much enjoy it, that blue trigger has cooked off thousands of rounds trouble free, if this trigger here is comparable, that would make this a good deal to.
