Smith and Wesson Jerry Miculek 45ACP 625JM 4" Wood Grips 6rd 160936 - Jerry Miculek knows a little about ultra-fast performance. His record 12 shots, two loads of six with a reload in between, in under three seconds set the standard for speed shooting. Smith and Wesson and Jerry Miculek have collaborated to design a revolver to deliver ultra-fast performance - the Model 625 JM. Since the 1850s, Smith and Wesson has supported sport shooting, a part of the American firearm heritage, with new products and activities to keep the challenge alive. Along with sponsoring a wide variety of shooting sports and events across the country, Smith and Wesson is especially proud to sponsor the successful careers of Doug Koenig, Jerry Miculek and Julie Goloski Golob - three of the world's most legendary shooters as they compete and win with Smith and Wesson firearms. Jerry Miculek's signature gun, the 625 is a 6 shot 45ACP revolver with a gold bead Partridge front sight with adjustable rear sight. It of course comes with his .265 wide speed trigger and custom wood grips. With his assistance in the design, you know you can depend on the 625JM to fulfill your needs whether at the range, competition, or left on the nightstand for home defense. 160936 M625 45ACP 4" 6rd Adj Sight Jerry Miculek Wood Grips SS Finish

Every time I see one pop up for a good price I've spent my money elsewhere. One of these days I'll snag one.
Perhaps the best trigger you'll ever get out of a box in a revolver. With 7 rounds of 45acp this pistol is simply amazing. If you want to knock down steel at the speed of light with a revolver, you'd be hard pressed to find a finer pistol for the price. The basics are there to make an excellent nightstand pistol as well.
While not as popular with the tacticool kids now, when he's gone, these WILL BE sought after. Miculek is a legend.
I agree it's a good gun (but it's a 6 shooter not a 7), I do prefer the 625PC myself as I just can't get over that ugly engraving plus for the slight difference I paid it has the PC action and a better looking (to me) barrel/lug profile. Still this is a good price for the JM just change the grips, they feel like you're holding a bar of soap.
You're right and I have clumsy fingers. I don't mind the grip but I understand you're comparison with the bar of soap. I usually loath advertising on my guns but the JM s subdued and didn't bother me enough to turn it down.. it was the trigger and .45acp that hooked me. So far I've skipped the .357 and chose .44 as my 1st magnum in the SRH Alaskan. I'm not even a revolver guy but I want one more. After I locate a .460 ES Kit I'm done with revolvers... unless I trip across $1500 and buy a Gemini Customs SP101.
Dont want a revolver with JM all over it
