Marlin 336 SS Lever-Action Rifle
This is a fantastic choice for a hunting rifle. The handsome combination of stainless steel and American black walnut wood with Mar-Shield finish withstands the elements for year-round dependability. A 20" barrel with Micro-Groove rifling makes it exceptionally handy in the brush and deadly accurate in the toughest conditions. The American black walnut stock and forend are enhanced with fine-cut checkering for a sure grip. In addition, the single-stage trigger and non-slip rubber buttpad help you aim sturdily. The 336SS solid-top receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts, and also features adjustable sights. The offset hammer spur is cleverly offset for scope use.

BEAUTIFUL RIFLE
Very happy with this rifle. After months of research, I made the decision to purchase this Marlin. Having full confidence in Marlin and believing in the history of quality and reliability. It is my pleasure to say that this rifle is Awesome. Whatever troubles they may have had over the transitional period of the restructuring, they appear to have figured them out. I'm actually looking at my next Marlin purchase. An 1895 cowboy in 45-70 I can't wait.
