Good news. With this price drop, discount code, and free shipping, these cost less delivered than they did before the pandemic. If you don't have a spare bolt, this is the time to get one. I keep one in my pistol grip.
Damn! The price went up another $10 since my earlier comment. BCM, and Daniel Defense haven't raised their prices on their 158 Carpenter bolts for several years. It is getting to the point they aren't that much higher than the budget stuff. I think it might be wise to go with the quality options while you still can.
I highly recommend this cost effective kit. The life span of a bolt carrier is normally at least double the life span of your bolt. That makes this a must have item for your war chest. I recommend that you also purchase a few extra extractors, springs, and any other repair parts you might need.

Wish you guys were selling these last year when I bought my two NiB bolts from you. I haven't needed to try them let -- let me trade them. Nitride is superior to NiB in my opinion :). R2B makes great stuff at great prices. #fanboy lol
I purchased two of these a few weeks back as backups for my most active rifles. (Which already have the Sharps RB in S7 tool steel, so these may end up in another rifle first) Both are MPI, Packaged put together so they were not loose and getting dinged up, Very well finished and not overly oiled. (Just enough) Checked for fit, and there were no issues I could find.
Always wise to have a backup bolt, as stuff happens.... and usually at the worst time.
