Sportsman's Guide calls anything/everything "surplus" if they can associate it with the military in some way.

To the best on my knowledge, no branch uses/issues black t-shirts.

I see SG calling all kinds of absurd stuff "surplus" that I know for a fact were never military issue items.

You are wrong about the black t-shirts. Up until 2011, the Air Force used to wear black t-shirts with the BDUs

Nope, I did not say that. I said you were wrong about "no branch uses/issues black t-shirts." As a logistics officer, I thought you would have known that.

I said uses - present tense.

My point(s) stand. These are either 8 year old shirts or they are not surplus.

They never have.

SG calls anything/everything "surplus."
