I'm a physician in St. Louis. I'm also a reddit user (with the same user name) and have a two-year posting history as such.

I don't have a financial stake in helping to sell these rifles. The website had seven left - I bought one, and posted the deal here (it's my first post - had to open an account).

You have strong feelings that this is a bad rifle. My original interest was because I could still cancel my order if it was truly a bad rifle. Is it just your feelings that the rifle is poor (everyone is allowed to have different opinions of course!), or is there somewhere reputable that I can look that shows facts or demonstrates why this rifle isn't great?

I've done a pretty thorough google search and all I find are positive reviews. Let me know what you think or what you find.

Cero, you have not even been a member of gun.deals for 24 hours and are singing the praises of the C39 and acting like there are little to no bad reviews when there are plenty.
When people come on here doing that, its because they have a financial interest in said item generally speaking.
If you want to deny quality issues with the C39 V1 and 2, go ahead.
Anybody reading this can simply do a google search on their own and see for themselves.

I don't work for prepper's. I did a pretty thorough google search before buying one of these - your comments were the first I found that were generally negative. The first three pages (not links, but pages of links) at google loads are positive praise for the rifle. What's so bad about it? I'd like to know before my rigle arrives.

Cero, im gonna asssume you work for Prepper's as you posted the deal.
Prepper's IMO is one of the best places out there to to business with when buying a firearm. Great prices, super quick shipping and good customer service.

Anyways, a quick google search will reveal problems with the V2 and the cast parts used on that rifle and so on.

...but the video does not review the same AK posted in the deal above. It seems the C39 had issues (as noted in your video), but the C39v2 generally has gotten better praise.

Do yourself a favor and keep away from this rifle.
Theres a bunch of reviews online on thsi rifle and most are not good.
Take a look at WASR AKs. On average they are about $650.
For a long time WASR's were questionable but that all changed in 2014.
The Cugir factory that produces the WASR addressed the issues and now its a 'solid' rifle.
Another decent AK to look at is the N-PAP.
