I would gladly buy a Troy rifle i hear they are great for shooting babies.
Out of a dozen or so AR's, my Troy is my goto rifle.Their quality is as good as any and better than most.
They couldn't pay me to own a Troy product.
Any experience with these rifles out there? Is it a good buy?
I think it's a pretty good rifle, but there's a LOT of negative press about Troy and some of the people they have employed. I won't delve into the details as it's all searchable if you really want to know.
Those were 3+ years ago, maybe they've wised up? I've never heard complaints about their products, and this appears to be a good price.

Thanks for the reminder, Scuba Steve- I have read about this crap with Troy in the past and forgotten about it. Ruby Ridge should serve as a reminder of the government's disdain for its tax-paying slaves- I mean citizens
I've owned and immediately sold a Troy rifle AFTER I learned of their terrible history (see link of Scuba Steve for most of it) and it was a mid to low level rifle at best. Not worth the price or sacrifice of morals...
Troy? I wouldn't take one of their products for free.
I've put several thousand rounds through a troy AR. It's good to go. I didn't know a thing about the company when I bought it. The bitching, most of it appropriate, has to do with troy's leadership and hiring. Some pretty questionable folks have gotten or currently get a paycheck from them. The products are good. You decide
