So it's like carrying 6 rounds of 9mm.

I have the older K100 Mark 7 and it is an awesome pistol. I use it as my IDPA competition gun and it preforms flawlessly and consistently.

The .380ACP however does not have a rotating breach like its larger siblings.

I can personally vouch for the K100, P1 Ultra and X-calibur.

Grand Power is an excellent brand and they have a lifetime warranty to the original owner.

When I saw this was being imported, I wanted to know if it was short-recoil or blowback. I have a Chiappa MC14 and love it but I'm curious to try out a locked breech .380 ACP. The MC14 holds 13 rounds I think and it was half the price. Not that Grand Power doesn't make excellent guns but this is close to Glock money for a gun that is best described as a high-capacity little old lady's carry piece.

I have an X-Calibur and couldn't be happier. I started on Glocks and love my G17, but I've never come across one that shoots half as good as the X-Cal. Better accuracy, better trigger, better sights, better handling, better quality (no MIM parts) and so far has been very reliable. By the time you improve the Glock sights, trigger, etc, you'll be out just as much money, so I'll never quite understand the price complaints...

Plenty of European firearms that are considered high quality competition guns that don't have much brand recognition here...just because you haven't heard of it doesn't mean that it's not good. More likely, it is just a side-effect of the bureaucratic processes required to import firearms and difficulty of finding a good importer/distributor...

I don't see the value here at all. You can get a 9mm g26 in gen 3 for a few bucks more. Grand Power is not Glock, where do they get off charging this price?

I agree. These guys have delusions of grandeur if they think an unknown name can charge this kind of price.

Wonder if these are any good, looks alot like the new chiappa 380 but I believe that's all steel framed?
