I try my hardest to avoid spending money with sportsmans guide .... Membership fee is ridiculous. But I do still sometimes buy grudgingly from them at times.

I've been a member of SG for over 10 years. It's been worth it to me purely for ammo purchases alone.

It's pretty rare that you aren't getting dou le discount or free shipping. Sometimes both and once a year 20% and free shipping usually sometime around Christmas.

If you're looking for Amazon like speedy shipping, they're not it. But, they've managed to keep my business for over a decade and I've always felt like I've gotten a good price.

Except on firearms, they're not real good there.

But on things they price match, they're great. I call them and price match... sometimes just order and send them an email with a link to price match.

I'm not saying jump up and go sign up, but just because it's not a deal for YOU doesn't mean it's not a deal for lots of others.

I see this same thing playout on other deal sites vs Costco. Seems almost like whining to me.

Price per round is wrong- it's 27 for 50, so it's 0.54c a round- and just a decent price..
