Exactly!! The cheapest FFL fee in my area of NJ is 45+NICS&Tax. For that fee im looking at an upgraded parts kit.
The appeal of 80% lowers primary consist of three words - "No FFL Required" That and the ability to make it yourself and engrave it anyway you want make its priceless, IMO.

I can understand the appeal of an 80% lower.. but why would i pay 40 bucks for this when i can get a fully machined and anodized anderson lower for 5 bucks more?
photo shows there is no hole for the bolt catch release spring/pivot
Good day, Tim.
Can you say if the rear pocket is milled, and, if cut is properly spec?
Recent batches of Cerro 80s, and a few other OEs have been undersizing the rear pocket (.475-.480 rather than .500 spec resulting in being unable to seat the rear pin ear on the upper). While this is not an issue for those running a jig, it is an issue for anyone using a GG1/GG2 as the GG does not mill the rear pocket (well, it will with custom code and some mech modifications...).
If you could caliper a few for spec (.500 inside width at the rear pin) I'll cross-post over on the restricted GG boards that you have in-spec 80s. Thanks.
