Description
Slide for the 1911A1 .45 ACP pistol. This full length slide is made from 17-4 PH steel and is hardened to Rc 44-46 throughout for a lifetime of service. This slide is machined to the MIl Spec for mating parts so any mil spec parts or series 70 frames will fit. The slide has both front and rear cocking serrations, a lowered and flared ejection port for positive ejection, the rear is machined for standard pattern adjustable sights (.330 x 60 degree x 110" with .500 flat forward and .258 to the rear cut. Bottom of dovetail to top of slide is .138") and the front is machined for a standard dovetail front sight, .330 x .060 dovetail, center of dove tail is .325 from front of slide.
