Since you got it from Anderson in sure you're good. But there could be some smaller or uninformed dealers out there still checking rifle on the form if that's what the customer says they're building, because that used to be the way it was done.

Can these be used on a stripped lower I bought if it's not labeled a pistol. Lower was ordered from Anderson
Not a lawyer, but my understanding is as follows. Yes, a virgin lower, should have been transferred from your FFL as an "Other", not as a pistol or rifle, thus you can build it into whatever you want. Build a pistol first, even if you change it to a rifle later, and you should be a ok.
