Gotta quit letting morons keeping posting this BS that doesn't work.
How can I get free shipping with takeoff15 code. I signed up for the membership
You can't. People need to stop posting the "best possible price even tho' most folks don't qualify" instead of SG's actual listed member price with the disclaimer that you need to join...
I wish these membership places would not post on here. Its annoying.
I'm a grown adult with plenty of years of experience.. membership gun sales..
Never a great deal.
Argue all you want. I look for sales with lowest shipping...
Many times others beat sportsmens guide.. But once you pay they know you will want to get your moneys worth and order more..
Its the marketing strategy folks.. Get this off gun.deals.
You don't have to be a member. As with all the sites, look for the best deal with free shipping. Sometimes it's these guys and sometimes it is another.
I've never paid shipping with sportsmansguide, can always find great deals, like 9mm for 8 bucks and they had 6.5 creedmore for 12.99, again no shipping
With code sg3209 and the 30 day free trial (if you're not smart enough to a member) this is $189 for 1000 shipped. You want beat that anywhere. Magtech is $179 for 1000 shipped. I've had one time I didn't get my shipment right away and if I would've looked at the expected delivery date at checkout I would've seen it was a month out. Called them up and spent less than 5 minutes on the phone and it was cancelled. Ordered lawman in its place and had it by Friday. Pay attention at checkout. If it's in stock it's normally sitting at my door in less than 5 days. This is my main go to for ammo and target sports is my other. You're not gonna get a better deal than this. Make sure you're an responsible adult and check the delivery date at checkout and you'll be good to go.
I picked up 500rds last week from Brownell's for less than what you're touting here after membership (18cpr). I would argue it is not those who refuse to pay for a membership that are the less intelligent ones, but those who pay extra for a membership AND extra for the product...
Well sir you are entitled to your opinion. I too picked up some from Brownells last week. It was $189 shipped which is an excellent price but I call bullshit that u paid less. With the four pay and other perks I don't see it as extra. I see it as an investment that paid for itself after two orders with that free shipping.

I stand corrected doctor jelly and appreciate the info. I stand by my comment of the perks you receive as being a member are well worth the $49. Brownells has a membership as well with perks
For sure, to each their own. For the volumes I shoot, a case a year is fine for me which cannot justify ANY membership. If you need a case every couple weeks and can't wait for sales, such memberships CAN save you money.
Additionally, I generally despise belonging to a group (which I view memberships as), paying a fee on top of paying for product, and people who insult others because they hold their opinion (read: not fact) in such high regard. I would hove not responded to your original post if you hadn't of laid down the challenge bolstered by a disparaging remark.
Totally understand. It reads different than I meant it. I was referring to me as the not smart enough before I decided to join. I was offering a code to help save people and did a poor job of my wording. Thanks sir for the dialogue and hope you have a great weekend
I'm not sure why you felt compelled to show what a dumbass sounds like but you did. Now go to your boyfriend I bet he's searched the whole trailer park for u
This is one of the only 9mm ammo that I have had problems with. I don't know if its the crimped case or what the problem is. Jammed a few times in two guns that never ever have malfunctions. FTF. Glock 19 and CZ SP01....
Yeah I know this comment is exactly one year old, but I have about 6000 rounds of this exact ammo through my CZ SP-01 with no issues. I've had the gun now for 2.5 years and I have 15K rounds through it. All brass ammo and no issues with any of them including this brand.
The ammo itself isn't bad. Grabbed a few boxes here a while back from another Vendor.
I prefer Target Sports.

Its not a bad price if you're just picking-up a couple of boxes of ammo, the free shipping is what makes it a deal. I've been buying from SG for a couple of years now and have never had a problem with their service, they ship quick and have always received exactly what I ordered. I purchase from them once a month on average, sometimes twice on month...
Not only is this not a good deal (I just bought 1k with free shipping for under $200 of Aguila 124gr a month ago), but it's a company that cancels your order if the deal they sold didn't make them money. On top of that, if you want the "better" pricing, you have to buy a membership which is always irritating... Plus, shipping usually ruins the deal (except for the few times you get free shipping).
All in all, not a deal. Even if it were, I'd be unlikely to purchase anything from them again anyway.
Wipe the tears from your eyes. It will all be Ok. I promise...
When you feel better, post a cheaper deal for us!
Watch for this deal to come around again:

Sportsman's Guide has pretty dismal reviews all across the web. I'm not the only one that's gotten butthurt over their shyster business practices.
different price at munire.com. it's $9.98 a box, not $9.29.
I've been using Aguila brand ammo for quite a few years now. The picture of the gray and blue ammo box is how Aguila used to be packaged. As a matter of fact I still have a few boxes of those hanging around. The new packaging that they have now is red and white. Both are factory fresh, not remanufactured. I wouldn't be able to shoot it at my range if it was remanufactured because they check ammo.
First of all, they are out of stock at Target Sports. Secondly, this is NOT the same ammo. These are remans. The factory Aguila runs 1200fps vs. 1115 fps, and secondly, these look like remans and are not factory roginials
You are correct - Weh we brought in several pallets of 22lr - we also got this. This 124 grain is packaged in the new box which is pictured here.

Targetsportsusa.com has the same priced ammo w/ no shipping charges. https://www.targetsportsusa.com/aguila-9mm-ammo-124-gr-fmj-092110-p-3401.aspx...
Nearly $30 shipping on 500 rounds, near $40 for 1k to AZ.
I've seen stovepipes/FTEs with this ammo as well...
it's not mag related, it's not QUITE firearm related though that's part of it.
We did testing with half a dozen guns and 3 or 4 different shooters to figure out the cause.
It's weak ammo.
If you're using a light/polymer gun AND don't have a very firm grip, you get these issue with this ammo because the light grip and light gun with the light recoil all combine to give you problems with the gun cycling properly.
Same ammo in a heavier gun, or same ammo in the same gun with a tight grip- it works fine.
Different, better, ammo, in the SAME gun with the light grip also works flawlessly.
It's only the combo of all 3 things- this weak ammo, plus a light grip, plus a light gun, that causes problems.
I've put hundreds of rounds of this exact ammo (also 115 gr.) through my CZ 75, Walther P1, and Zastava M70 without a hitch. I'd suspect any issues while using this ammo is firearm/magazine related.
When you can buy Federal for 14.88 with no membership why bother with this Deal?
This ammo gave me issues with a Beretta PX4 SC and a Magnum Research MR9. Stovepipes and FTFs. I then switched to steel and aluminum case ammo and those gave me no issues at all. Switched back to this ammo to finish what I had left and still had the same issues. Don't know if that "crimp" had anything to do with it, but I will not be getting this ammo anymore. YMMV though.
124grain has been hard to find, glad to see it starting to show up.
This place had some of the most outrageous pricing (and still does) during the madness. They were higher priced than CTD! I think I remember seeing some target stuff for like $60-$70 a box of 50. They think people don't remember but they do! I will never buy from places that did this. There is PLENTY of ammo for good pricing today. They can suck it!!
lets see...with their ahem $30 to ship a case, it works out to be .35 per round or $17.50 a box...$18 a box if you order half a case...no thanks!
SG had this yesterday for $13.80 plus additional discounts.
Has to be one of the absolute worst gougers
I've ever seen. One teaser priced 9 mm, my god
The prices on everything else. Their add/posts
Should be shi+ canned before wasting space
Here.
Yes, they always work. It is my experience.
