Return the 4 overpriced boxes and get them from target sport USA. 10 boxes with shipping after Mir is $39 (saves $17). I have a s&w 686 and love it. I've shot both and like the smith better. Some like the ruger better. Go to a gun range that has rentals and try before you buy. Both are great guns.
what length barrel you shot or shoting & like??
i don't know what a range is around here. i was leaning towards the smith but like the looks of the ruger too. maybe both then i'll know. i got 2x 10 gift cert. so if rebate works out i'll have 67 cents a box in it if i'm not too under the weather right now??!!! !!!!! just looking at guns & ammo right now & enjoying adult beverages & so on. hey bought bullets got to have a gun!!!!!!!!!!!

Better deal at target sports. 12.50 a box. After MIR comes out to $39 (w shipping to MO). And you don't have to deal with Sportsmans Guide. Win-Win!!!
i have a 4" barrel. My other handguns have 4" barrels and I just really like that barrel length. If you're looking for some for concealment go for a 2.25 or 3". If you want to hunt with it, I'd go with a 6" barrel, but they get kind of heavy.
