I ordered an upper from PSA, it arrived UPS in 7 days.
Keep in mind these are the 'Freedom" series. Quality very much on the low end.
Nonsense. The PTAC line is, by definition, the “low end” of PSA’s lineup, and those have had some sporadic quality problems. Freedom is PSA’s mid-priced line; of course it's not top-shelf but frankly is as good as a casual shooter will ever need. Poster “trmaines” doesn’t state if he/she owns a Freedom line upper (or has shot one), but I’ve owned this exact Freedom upper over a year and find it to be solid build quality, reliable and reasonably accurate--just fine for a budget build. There are lots of similar reports out there, if you bother looking.
Can you be specific? It looks like basic features, but you say quality is low. I don't think any PSA firearm is low quality, but I could be wrong.
Slow shipping times from PSA but great deals if you dont mind the wait thats my only complaint with them I have ordered alot from them and most of the time its decently fast but rather slow as molasses sometimes
Funny how they can advertise this again. I ordered one 17 days ago and it hasn't even shipped yet. Dont waste your money.
Mine shipped yesterday!! Should be here in the next few..
I also ordered the 18 SS rifle length upper last week.. No worries it will come you can call them also and they can give you an eta. A little wait for an excellent deal on a quality upper is worth it IMHO..
Have a great weekend!!

Back in stock just ordered one, seems like a great deal for a cheap build
GRAHHH!!!
Went out of stock as I went to the payment page... I may have to resign myself to not being able to put together a super cheap AR...
You are correct. My confusion. Thanks for pointing that out.
The ad states slim but the pic here and on their site clearly shows a forward assist and dust cover. Neither description defines if they are present or not. Can anyone say for sure?
I don't have a horse in this race, but I think you are confused between the 'slim' barrel description and 'slick side' which is not stated.
In for one. Good deal with free shipping for sure. Always have had good luck with PSA and this will be my first stainless upper, so we'll see.
This is at that magic price point... May not be able to build one for less especially with bcg and ch and free shipping too! This is the type of PSA deal that keeps me checking their page a couple times a day :)
I don't have the slim barrel, but my PSA stainless is very nice and shoots excellent.
I think this would be perfect for a lightweight build.
