I bought one too. Rebate may not have worked anyway. While looking for information on DBM vs floorplate models, I found this:
The Savage 22262 and 18899 are identical in every aspect but the model number.Savage uses the 22262 model number to designate that the particular gun is for promotion.For example Savage gave the dealer a free gun for buying so many 18899's the free gun is given the 22262 model # This is done for tracking purposes and also the promotion gun is not eligible for factory rebates.
