This price seems good, these normally run $450-500. As an owner of an original Bodyguard 380 with the built-in laser, I found this odd configuration confusing at first: wasn’t the M&P 380 intended for those who didn’t want the laser? But the CT laser stuck onto this newer M&P model has two advantages: it’s automatically activated when you grip the gun, and it’s a green laser which should be more visible in daytime conditions. The older (non M&P) model had a red laser which you had to activate by a pushbutton on the front of the frame. I guess S&W might call it incremental product improvement…but now that makes at least three different physical configurations of this model. May be hard to find a holster that fits, but this probably makes more sense as a pocket pistol.
