The point is to SELL rifles. Jacking up prices is just bad biz. Order more from Bushy. Am sure Bushy rather sell more rifles to jack up revenue than pay taxes on the stock in warehouses at end of year-the point of the rebate.

Tombstone jacked up the price to $966 ? ;-)

Probably about exhausted their stock. This one is still $680

Is the M&P still available for $519? I saw it was sold out earlier.

I bought because of the $200 rebate.

What makes this better than the $550 Ruger 556 ,or the M&P15 for $519 ? The warranty is only one year

For one, its $100 cheaper if I get the rebate. The M&P is a slick side, and both it and the ruger are big box store budget rifles.

The XM Patrolman is similar to the LE series from colt, they both are contracted to law enforcement departments and have a defense contractor 4150 chrome lined barrel. I would much rather have the 1:7" colt than the bushy 1:9", but for $430 ill live with it.

I pulled the trigger on one. Remington is A+ rated on BBB and seem to keep up with complaints. If the don't honor the rebate, I will file a complaint through BBb. I have done it in the past to get a rebate.

I hear you all. Have done these rebates with Bushmaster 4 times already. Not at $200 though and it is always a risk. If they burn me then they will have lost a customer for life. I have spent thousands on their products including Remington. Vote with your dollar.

I would jump on this if I knew I was gonna get $200 back for sure. Rebate is just so iffy.

I'm still concerned about the "cash register receipt" requirement for an online sale. I wouldn't want to fight a rebate fulfillment company on that if they wanted to deny my rebate because all I had was an email invoice/receipt.

I called Bushmaster and customer service said that only models excluded are on the front of the flyer and that this model would qualify for rebate. I snatched 2.

I don't know if it qualifies or not for the $200 rebate. The wording is vague on the poster and excludes several models, but then states " only models listed on this black friday form will qualify" and it only shows the A3 model and # . If it does qualify it is a great deal!

Searched around the web some more and could find nothing to clarify qualifying rifles . Found another Black Friday listing for this, but showing 3 different models, and it yet again states "only models listed on this form..." .Scroll down on link to see rebate. http://www.rsrgroup.com/opnrebatesfolder/assets/pdf/2015-remington-black-friday.pdf...
Bushmaster customer service appears to be closed on weekends per there website. Not saying other rifles aren't covered, just giving fair warning.

I looked at Bushmasters website and this rifle qualifies for the bonus $150 rebate along with the initial $50 rebate for a total of $200 off this rifle. great deal for a entry level AR.

Not sure about the $200 rebate. Very confusing.
