What makes these better than CCI which boasts better specs (both velocity and energy) at a slightly lower cost? I know CCI’s aren’t “tactical” but at 10 cents per round I am assuming you can do much better than this.
Please note I have NO EXPERIENCE with this ammo and I actually would like to know if this stuff is better for some reason.
The lower velocity is typical of match/target ammo which helps ensure better consistency. The ammo is mainly for target and competition shooting and not so much for varminting even though it is advertised for such.
High velocity match grade hunting ammo is really expensive, like $0.16 per round.
Makes sense, the "TAC" part threw me (which I can only assume means "tactical") being most people are going to associate high velocity / power with semi autos when talking 22LR and this is at the borderline of what a picky semiauto 22LR will tolerate reliably.
I have personally ordered from Midsouth Shooter's Supply and use this ammo, so that's why I posted this deal.
