I want to make sure everybody's aware this is the state compliant version with a target crown no thread and a fixed mil-spec stock. The RDS version has a 6 position stock and a threaded barrel with a muzzle brake. Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore had the RDS on sale for the same price not long ago.

Yes, to all questions. This is a 10/22 action sitting in a aluminum ‘chassis’ made by Nordic Components for Ruger.

Anyone know if 10/22 high capacity mags fit these? Are these just a fancied up 10/22? Will upgraded aftermarket action and triggers for the 10/22 work on these?

I have this and maybe its a bit tacticool, but this is a very well put together rifle. It features superb accuracy, with easilly modified furniture, and i have found the adjustable length of pull to be quite nice.

I tossed some flip up iron sights on mine and have used it to get better at using AR15 style iron sights but at $0.06 a round instead of $0.35 a round.

Are its controls the same as an AR 15? No. It is close enough for most muscle memory? Yes.

This also proved to be a fantastic gun for appleseed.

So a 10-22? But no front site? So a very short site plane? and with adjustable collapsing stock or fixed as desc says? It takes the 10-22 rotary mag? With or with out any modification? How far under the lower receiver mag well does it protrude? And of course, i can use my reg 25 rnd banana clips with it yes?

For an M16 trainer, maybe just the .22 switch out kit for me... then it does have all the AR15 pieces/ parts/ muscle memory things going for it. Thanks...

Seems high dollar for a AR-ish 10/22 rifle chambered in 22lr. At least the 15-22 mimics an ARs controls making it a solid training rifle but this is just a tacted out plinker.
