Beware, they will screw you: just ordered 4 scorpion mags and a tapco AK mag for the heck of it. CTD canceled my scorpion mags but simultaneously have them on their site for $5 more than what I just ordered. Called to cancel the AK mag and said I can't cancel order, so i just paid $17 for one $9 magazine. Would not let me add 4 cz scorpion mags at "new higher price" to original order either. Would have to pay shipping again. Last time I give them my business.

i saw a better deal on sportsman outdoor superstore. Dun buy from CTD. They should change their name to 'cheaper than dirt and not worth a sheyt'.

They lowered the price $400 and it's still over priced. Explain why this is a deal on par with a LWRC, and worth $800 more than a DD etc.

BCM is overpriced. Who wants a rifle that says F.A.G. on it?

BCM is not overpriced, this rifle is. This is a pre-panic/2011 price for a "then" top of the line rifle. And its more like a "EAG Tactical Special Edition" BCM. Their standard product line (MOD X) is much cheaper, but just as top notch. And BCM is not really a "firearms manufacturer", or at least that is not their primary focus. They're smart enough to know a business can't really turn a profit by primarily selling complete rifles.

My guess is CTD purchased (and got stuck with) a bunch of these thinking the panic prices would go on for very long time. Now that the market is flooded with AR's, the accessories market is on fire, and your average MSR/AR newcomer scoffs at any complete rifle over $699. Everyone else is accessorizing...er upgrading (the manly way to say it) their room full of AR's they somehow wound up with (because real SHTF AR owners don't panic buy...right?). You can get a NEW complete BCM upper for about $500. That's with BCM BCG, Gunfighter CH, and Gunfighter Comp. That may be a bit more than a $300 complete DPMS upper. But that's comparing entry level (and not even mil-spec in a lot of cases) to expert (and ready for duty). More expensive? Yes. Overpriced? No way.

This is way over priced based on the name, and the color. As mentioned this can be built for less than $1k. Hell even a Daniel Defense is better than this and costs less. They just aren't "special" or tan.

What on earth on you talking about? I stated in the first sentence of my comment that "this rifle is [overpriced]". I'm not sure what you are going on about with "name", "color", and "tan". My point was that BCM products ARE NOT overpriced. Just because some cruddy company (CTD) sells a rifle with BCM's logo on it at a ridiculous price, doesn't make BCM overpriced. And its not even technically BCM's product. Its an EAG Tactical rifle that EAG had BCM build for them based on EAG's specs/loadout. I personally do not even like this rifle. Black or Tan. If you want to talk "overpriced", lets talk Noveske, Rainier, or even Daniel Defense. And I own several DD's and I still think they are overpriced. Mainly because 20% of the cost is going to DD's marketing.

Wow, what a terrible price. You could part this rifle out and LOSE about a grand. Just awful.

but it's posted by JamesS, updated by michaelw.. therefore must be a good deal. plus it's a requirement to work at BCM that you must have a full beard. Another plus in terms of being a deal. Plus it's from CTD, therefore it's a trio of being a deal. BUY NOW.
